Hello, I invite all cricket fans to discuss their thoughts on ongoing cricket world cup. I hope there are lot of cricket fans here. Just share which team you are rooting for. Thanks.

I am from india and of-course i want my home team to retain the world cup. But I am also rooting for new zealand this time. They are playing great cricket.

From England and am ashamed by what our team are doing

Morgan should never have been made captain, his form was & is still worse than Cooks ever was - i would have gone for Root and play Taylor at 3 where he score runs at least.

Come on New Zealand, great country and team are looking solid at the moment :top:

Side note - the ICC have got it wrong (surprise, surprise) in making this tourney last soooo long, its longer than the Football World Cup!
Also why have they stopped the associates from playing in the next WC , doesnt make sense

dont really follow cricket to much but the only match i watched was ireland vs west indies and we won so i guess im a good luck charm

I agree with beardyian. tourney is very long. For each team there is a gap of almost whole week between two games. I miss the old format with super sixes.
anyways i am very delighted by India's performance, considering their poor show throughout the oz tour. Today We outplayed RSA in all the 3 departments. WTG

AB de Villiers does it again 162 not out off just 66 balls and more records broken :adore:

150 off just 64 balls
and face just 21 balls from West Indian Captain Holder and scored 76 runs

And South Africa scored 222 in just 15 overs the second highest, the highest is in fact 230 by South Africa against.....West Indies back in January.

There are several players i wouldn't have picked for England and as for 'a single is good enough' style of play, it drives me mad

Hales in - Bell Out
Ballance out
Root Capt - Morgan Out
Buttler moved up the order
Taylor moved up as well
Broad out Jordan/Tredwell in

and thats just for starters
