Horse Handicapping Contest (season 1 episode 3) for Saturday 5 DEC 2020
Lets open up another challenge for Saturday 5 DEC 2020 at Fair Grounds using Races 2, 3, and 4. Post time for Race 2 is 2:29p EST so this is the deadline for you to post your entries in this thread. The past performance is here:
https://www.fairgroundsracecourse.co.../12/FG-Sat.pdf
Bets available include:
Exacta / $0.50 Trifecta / $0.10 Superfecta / Daily Double /$0.50 Pick 3 (Races 2-4)
I believe at this track the exacta payout is based on a $1 wager. Win, Place, and Show payouts are based on a $2 wager.
Remember to allocate no more that $24 in bets per race. You have $24 available to wager in each of the 3 races. You can wager whatever bets are offered in the program that includes any or all of these races. All are welcome to participate. I will post results in the evening and attempt to tabulate participants shortly after. Good Luck.
TOOLS:
HOSRE WAGERING CALCULATOR
This will help you tabulate the cost of your exotic wagers more easily. Just pick your base bet size, bet type, and then check off all the horses you wish to cover in each position. You can use multiple selections in each leg.
It will calculate the total cost of your wager.

Your bet doesnt have to be perfect just legible and understandable. Feel free to use long form.
If you put the total amount wagered in parenthesis after every wager that is a combo wager then I will know what you are doing.
I use part wheels a lot and they are a bit more intricate so I will break them down when I do.
Be patient with me and I will be with you. Some of us are learning. I am human and make mistakes too. When I do feel free to say so.
Theres nothing at risk, so its a great way to learn. Good luck and lets have fun!
