Has the golf bubble burst?

A few years back golf was massive,everyone wanted to play it,everyone wanted to watch it,every blue chip company wanted to sponsor it,golf courses where being built everywhere!So has it diminished slightly??Doesn't seem to be much hype going on in the sport

It could be that nobody is dominating the game like Tiger Woods was..and the interest in it has suffered because the sport needs another Tiger or Nicklaus.

- people cant afford to play anymore...
- its boring to watch ...(to most people)
- theres not enough drama...especially if a player has a 4-5 shot lead late on sunday

I would rather watch the lpga ... ( cause I'm a leg man)

i'll get to work on some ideas to resurrect it...

#1 -make it a 2-3 hour game - not 4+ and 4 days ?
