What percentage of poker players like golf? Both games can be fun even if you are not good at them.

It's hard to answer for everyone, I'll say it for myself. I like Golf, I would love to play it. But unfortunately, it is poorly developed in our country. Golf courses can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

The best thing about being bad about golf is you spent half your time in the bushes. I usually end up finding more balls than I lose but its a close one.

I still haven't worked out how to hit a driver straight. I have to aim it to 9oclock to have any chance of it landing on fairway.

I much prefer Pub Golf, but that's for another thread!

I think im better at poker than golf, although i have had a hole in one. i still dont feel as though i can play as comfortably as i do poker,

Nothing beats being out in the hot sun with friends,enjoying a cold beer,hitting golf balls. One of lifes enjoyments for me,,,i love it. :cheers:

Havent played much in the last few years. Work related ailments and all. I did win our family tourney in the summer though. Mu dads too old to play, one of my brother sucks but another bro lives in california and gets out alot. I kicked his ass! Haha. I love to golf.

Nice, sadly most all the pool halls in Vancouver are gone. There were a few back in the day that had a cpl golf games going from open to closing time.

There are still a few here (Toronto) but not as many as years ago,,,,i spent the early 80's in the arcade,,,and the late 80's in a pool hall,,,, Good Times! :damnmate:

Thats funny. Your timeline is exact same as mine. Think i walked in to the pool haul in 84. For a 14 yr old It seemed like such a shady place, cause it was, Haha. I always got butterflies in the belly walking down the stairs. Played the pinball machines for a cpl years before I got into the pool. Eventually worked there. I was usually the high score on comet, cyclone, funhouse and terminator pinball machines.
