Toby Gerhart, Heisman Trophy runner-up, will enter the NFL Draft and forego his last year of eligibilty at Stanford. I think this is an obviously good choice by him; a decision Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford wishes he made last year.  ;)

It's a smart move. He needs to strike while he's hot. He can always go back to school later. If he's going to get 1st round money, it's definitely worth it.

good for him he had over 1,800 yards last season gl to him.however espn has him ranked 7th among rb entering the draft which would not hv him being a 1st round pick. other running backs like c.j.spiller from clemson and the rb from georgia tech higher. i dont think they r measuring the heart of toby g.

i dont see why he wouldnt go. i really hate how espn measures the picks. he had the most rushing touchdowns of any running back this season and yes i agree about them not measuring the heart of a player cause this kid has tons of heart for this game and i think he can only get better. good luck to him.

Not a big surprise. Most stud running backs don't come back for their senior year. The career life span for running backs in the NFL now is very short, as most don't get the opportunity to play into their 30's. I think Gerhart has a good career ahead of him in the pros.
