The Goal is a combined error of Lowe and his 3 in the back tactics. Gundogan and Kroos positioning and transitioning. The lack of discipline from Gnabry.

When the action started Kroos was supposed to go after Pavard, Gundo to stay on Benzema, Havertz further right. They decided against it and the whole MF lagged behind, Pavard and Benzema were free which created problems, Rudiger and Gosens were effed cuz Pavard was free.

Pogba with that pass revealed the defence flaws, Ginter was covering more space than supposed to, Kimmich ending up with a wasteland behind him and Mbappe to cover, Kimmich is good, but come on, he was between a rock and a hard place.

Let me be clear about his, Low was watching Bayern Matches this year more than any freaking team. He knows what Pavard and Hernandez are capable of, Gnabry knows it, he elected to be +50 meters from Hernandez, Kimmich knows it but cant do squat about it, Muller knows it.

You cant play with 3 defenders with Pavard, Hernandez and Mbappe, added to that Pogba crosses and his superiority on aerial duels, and the crosses to Mbappe, Hernandez and Pavard. t' was Simply impossible, MF are slow, DF rea sslower, gotta apply pressure to avoid those runs.

In a nutshell, players must be put on their natural positions, Gnabry was deactivated, Havertz couldnt find water if he was drowning in the sea, except that he kinda stopped Kante more than once, Kroos was required to drop down and get in a bad shape against Pogba. Kimmich potential diminished, his crosses were seldom accurate, and Hummels is human, he needs more company in the back line.

Low is finished, is dead. Poor performance by Germany, if Pogba passed that ball to Mbappe in one touch, we'd be looking at 2-0.
