I myself am big ruby fan. I enjoy the mix of skill and power needed to grind the other team down to get the win, and I appreciate the physical demand that puts in the players. It makes it so fun to support as there are big hits and special moments all over the game.

What do you feel between either football or rugby is the more fun sport to watch and why do you prefer it over the other?

In my country, rugby is not as popular as football, but football is played in every yard, and I am more interested in watching football than any other sport.

Here, in brazil, rugby is a complete unusual sport to practice. 🤣

But if with "football" you are talking about "soccer" (how it's called in US), obviously it's the most known, loved and practiced sport of my country! 😅

So I prefer soccer/football, for explicit reasons...

Its football all the way for me!!

I do like Rugby too, when the 6 nations is on or a world Cup. I find the scrums in rugby are such an annoying part of it, rugby league scrums are much better, pretty much pretend scrums, just to get the game going again!! :ROFLMAO:

In general, for me, poker is a sport. And poker is my favourite sport. As for rugby or soccer, I would probably prefer soccer.

Football is absolutely the best sport in the world, besides being the most practiced and the one with the most loyal fans, both national and club, and it has tournaments that encompass all countries and compete against each other, such as the World Cup qualifiers and the FIFA World Cup itself, which is organized and held every four years.

Between those 2 options, it's Football/Soccer.

I only follow the big events like World Cup and UEFA Euro Cup.

However, Rugby looks interesting! I should check it out. Handball is my favorite sport, so anything similar sparks my interest.

Would you like to recommend some Rugby Leagues? Any favorites of yours?

Cool, thanks for the opinion.
Handball looks fun also, but i have never played it myself, just saw some clips here and there.

I would recommend the Top 14 and URC for club level rugby comps that have great teams playing and the rugby is at a very good level.

Then for international games, the best of the best in my opinion would be the Rugby Championship payed between South Africa, new zealand, Australia and argentina.

If you prefer European teams, then the Six nations comp is also very good rugby at international level.

I totally get why you love rugby! The mix of power, strategy, and big hits makes it exciting to watch (Read More). Personally, I think both sports have their own thrills—football has more stoppages but builds up big, dramatic moments, while rugby keeps the action going with intense physicality. I’d probably lean toward rugby for its nonstop energy and physical battles, but football’s tactical depth is great too. What about you—do you ever enjoy watching football, or is it all about rugby for you?

Both sports are exciting in their own way, but I find rugby more thrilling to watch. The continuous play, big hits, and strategic teamwork make every moment intense. Unlike football, where play stops frequently, rugby keeps the action flowing, which keeps me more engaged.

Thanks for the response.
The reasons you gave for enjoying rugby is what makes it so fun for me.

When it comes to football, I do watch the world cup and my one friend is a big Liverpool fan, so I catch few of thier games sometimes.
