But still manage to do good w/IDPs with these simple tips. Sure, you can wrack your brain pour over the settings, but shortcut... go into players and click on 2011 stats for each IDP type. When examining the scoring, note not only the diff in how many pts each type IDP scores, but scroll down the page and notice any standard deviations. Just for example... say top 10 LBs score between 200 and 185 pts, next 10 between 160 & 180. Then look at DBs (CB & S) and say the 1st 5 look like this...180, 170, 165, 160, 145 , and the next 15 DBs between 130 and 145. This would make the top couple DBs more of an urgency draftwise. Do the same for DEs, and you'll probably discover that no matter what the scoring settings are for hem, there is far less variance than for LBs or DBs, so you can probably wait. Do the same for 2010, and you can even go back to 2009 at NFL, and make note of the consistent high performers. This part is cumbersome (except for at MFL, where each player's line will contain not only avg pts per game, but thei'r score each week, so you can see how many weeks they missed, accounting for lower tot pts). make notes of outstanding rookies like Von Miller and Patrick Peterson. The next stage of IDP advancement is awareness of all else that has changed on their team, new coaches, absence of other key players (via trade (HOU), susp (NO), retirement, injury, etc). Forgot to mention, also compared the IDPs to all other positions, as some IDPs (such as ace's bestball league at MFL) may be very heavily weighted toward IDPs, and you may be drafting the top LBs and DBs even before filling out your offense.
