I think way too many people are sleeping on Arsenal, especially if Alexis stays around. The front 3 of Ozil, Sanchez and Lacazette is going to be pretty elite. They finally get a striker who can finish consistent

Probably have a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Newcastle isn't going to finish 13th.. 15-16th tops... Chelsea is most likely going to win again. 2 to 6 is going to be man u man city and Tottenham, liverpool and arsenal as always. and I doubt Swansea will go as high as 8th

I'm a big fan of this league ... I think it's the most competitive in the world ... normally there are five or six teams fighting to be champions ... and I'm a chelsea ... follower!

The reason I don't think Chelsea will win is they have to play Champions League next year and haven't replaced Diego Costa. Liverpool also have to play Champions League so it is unlikely they will improve in the Premier League too. Arsenal are in the Europa League which is even more difficult.

The only thing that will stop Tottenham is if they don't play as well at Wembley. They are young, improve every season and are used to rotating for the Champions League.

The way the preseason is going, Man U. may be about to finally rise back to the top. I always root for the Spurs, now the perennial runner-up. I hope Rooney has a huge season with Everton, lifts them to Champions League qualifying (top 4). Chelsea is still the team to beat .. and someone will, teams don't repeat as titleists these days. Going to be a great season. Anyone prepping a PL Fantasy League that needs another competitor?

Pre-season generally doesn't mean that much. Even the start of the last season it looked like United and City would be the best teams and it didn't work out that way. A lot of it is just about preparation and conditioning. We used to have a Fantasy League here, I don't know if anyone wants to organise one again?

EA Sports is a good place for a Fantasy Premier League. I could look into it, start a thread if there's interest ... And yeah, I though West Ham would be awesome last year from preseason, and the Hammers totally bombed despite a lot of talent. We shall see. Leaning towards Man U-Spurs-Chelsea-Arsenal as top 4 finishers right now ...

Also, do you find pre-season counts more in American sports or about the same? I think United could do well on any front simply because it is Mourinho and he wants to win everything he hasn't already with them. I don't think Chelsea should have sacked him even when they were doing badly under him, and I think he is on a mission to beat them. On a personal mission though I think he would like to win the CL more than the PL and could harm PL form. He rates every trophy.
