For those of you who don't know, the Cheltenham Festival is the pinnacle of the UK Jumps Horse racing season.

4 days, 27 races and over 250 of the finest jumps horses from around the world complete in events with up to £500,000 in prize money and it starts tomorrow (Tuesday).

The highlight of tomorrows racing is the Champion Hurdle 15:20WET.
The question in this race is, is there any competition for Faugheen (evens)? The New One and Jezki fans will have fair odds to put their money on the line. But for me I'm holding out for the best price on Faugheen, hopefully some bookie do limited special of 2/1 in the early hours tomorrow.

In the Mares Hurdle at 16:00WET
We have Annie Power choosing a slightly larger field event with lesser prize money than her talent should command. She out classes every other horse in the race by far and the bookies know it giving only 8/13.
I doubt there will be any special prices on this race so the value might come from EW or Place bets.

The purpose of this thread is to hear any tips, ask any questions, share your big wins or find consolation in any bad beats (like if Faugheen falls)

My husband's family lives there and he will be there next week but probably won't attend any races.

I have been there once or twice during this week and it is crazy there lol.

I've never been to Cheltenham (town or Racecourse) myself but I'm sure I'll make the trip one year.

When I go to the racetrack it's usually more about a family day out rather than betting. But for the business of betting it's more profitable to on a computer and wstching races on TV. :)

The bets are on. My main punts for today are
1:30 Douvan (2/1)
2:05 (6\1) Vibrato Valtat
3:20 Jezki (a U turn for me on this. the ground and 5/1 odds make Jezki look good)
4:00 Emily Gray (80/1 bit of a punt here)
4:40 Cogry (16/1)
5:15 Irish Cavalier (14/1)
