Did anyone else see the video of his sentencing? At first I thought the judge was super harsh over a sports thing, but she complimented his atterny for him getting no jail time after headbutting his wife...and he did that? He should of put his head down in shame and walked out lol

I still think she over reacted - it was similar to a pat on the back and that is how it was meant I am sure.

Chad Johnson is worthless as evidenced by his spousal abuse and who knows what all he may have "Got away with" before she finally had enough.
Glad he is finally gone from the Bengals, good riddance. All his whining and crying about having to fulfill his contract with us has left a bad taste in many Cincinnatians' mouths.
I personally hope he tears his ACL in half and never has a pro career again. 30 days in jail is NOTHING to him. He will have GOD-LIKE status in the jail, if he is even in general population. Either way the ignorant inmates and guards alike will be fawning all over this overrated chump like a bunch of 13 year old school girls.
TAKE HIS $ ! HIT HIM WHERE IT HURTS !

i agree it was an over reaction by the judge, but my overwhelming hatred for those that raise their hand, or in this case their head, to a woman made me really enjoy this. enjoy your time ochocinco

I read on Rueters that he got 30 days in jail?
I hope they sentence him to some Anger Management classes or Counseling as well so next time he will think about it and just walk away like he should have anyway.

jeez the judge said "you think your attorney did a good job?" He said yeah and patted him on his ass just like football players/ sports players in general do -- wasn't meant to be funny or anything just an acknowledgement to his attorney, basically saying thanks.

It wouldn't have been a problem if the judge hadn't been semi-unprofessional asking Johnson whether he thought his attorney did a good job.

IMO Judge is a bitch who was playing to the cameras.

If you want to have an argument as to whether he should be in jail for headbutting his wife, we can. But the 30-day jail sentence had NOTHING to do with the headbutt. The headbutt case had been settled, whether you or I or anyone thought the sentence was wrong did not matter -- the case had been closed.

Its kind of like in basketball when a ref calls a bad foul, on the other teams next possession they call a make up foul by blowing the whistle on any little touch that would usually go un noticed. so maybe that was what the judge was doing calling a make up foul =o

I guess my autograph I got from Chad Johnson at Bengals training camp years ago now has 30 days in jail attached to it!

The judge definitely went on a power trip...

He was sentenced to 30-days in jail for not cooperating fully/making fun of the judge, which he totally did not.

He had already reached a deal in the headbutting case. He didn't go to jail for that.

That was ridiculous. Total overreaction by a fame-seeking judge.
