So m It much has came out on the issue and there are still two very opposite sides. Most athletes I hear are taking the side of the "bully". I think I need to hear everything to make a final decision. Someone did quit their nfl team because of how he was treated, but why didn't he stand up for himself? All the voicemails and messages and text we see...I don't know if we ever know the intent of those. My first reaction was to take his side and say he was bullied, but I have jumped back on the fence. What do you guys think?

Freakin' pathetic story, I just don't get all this crap. How does something like this happen to these extremes without someone stepping in and preventing it to get this bad?

This player Martin was weird guy from what other people on the team said, he quits NFL cause he is bullied? He does not deserve to be in NFL then go knit sweaters, sounds like a soft minded guy even if he was called offensive names and bullied he overreacted I believe, seems like a guy without perspective to walk away from the team like this, I am glad the Dolphins players are taking side of Incognito because he was just trying to toughen up the guy

How can you say he doesn't deserve to be in the nfl because he does not have the mental fortitude to handle pressure from teammates? Im sure things happened in high school and college and he could handle that. I am not picking sides but you cant say good hes out of the nfl.

Think all info has not come out yet, I have heard both players may be at fault since there are conflicting reports about Martins motivations for bringing this to light .Incognito is at fault for putting himself in the position to be accused imo......scorp

Ok, so let me get this straight...

Some guy, gets drafted into the NFL (I don't watch it so I have no clue who the dude is), and he quits his team because he's being bullied by a player/players?

If ^^^^This is the case, than, this player didn't need to be in the NFL in the 1st place, not because he lacks talent (Maybe he did lack that), I just don't know, but for the simple reason that this is the NFL (I mean come on ppl), when do we as adults draw a line on this subject? It sucks to have it happen to your child, your friend, your brother (yet when you grow up), than you/we/us/people need to man up/grow up/ballz up/do something...

To throw your career away due to insults/slurs/comments is just pathetic (he could've beaten the dudes ass/went to the press and brought it to light into that manner, and could've shown the "kids" being bullied at schools, how to handle a bully/bullies? Yet instead he chooses to send this message that it's "better to walk away from your problems, rather than addressing them"? How is that supposed to be a role model?

As stated, I am not against this player, just against his actions that he chose to do, in this instance.

This guy who was bullying went to Stanford so he probably has a good friend who is a lawyer, pathetic society nowadays, back in the day you manned up and dealt with it, and he shows bad message to kids how to deal with your problems, I hope the Dolphins sign someone who is fighting just to make the roster and this kid's contract gets terminated asap just like he wants and that he doesn't get paid fully for the season, this is my opinion! If you can't handle the heat don't go into the sauna that is the NFL, also funny how most of the team said a week ago they would have said that he and Incognito were best friends, My conclusion is the kid realized he doesn't have what it takes so he tried to take the route of going to lawyers to suck money out and play the victim

We have a population of over 300 million people inthe US. Out of that about 1300 make it to become NFL players. We are talking about an elite corps of players. You don't make it to that spot without hazing of some sort. He has other issues rather than the bullying one. And I believe bullying is the wrong term for this. The media has picked up on that term because it sounds relevant. He was being harassed. And as an adult male in the NFL he should have handled this differently. He quit on his team and he cried wah, wah , wah. He doesn't belong with this team or any other. He needs to take care of his mental health issues.

Just because your "man" (that right there is ajoke) enough to stand up to someone (that has nothing to do with being a man) doesn't mean he should or has to be. And Im not taking sides. Im just saying a rookie got taken beyond hazing and it caused him to leave. He stood up in his own way, not how you or I would, but a way he feels comfortable. Being a man, or big, oor tough, doesn't matter is this situation. He was obv tough enough to play football...he started every game did he not?

He is the rookie on the team right? he is an o line man or maybe d I dunno....either way hes got balls. if he doesn't like being called...well half whatever and doesn't like comments directed at his mother or sister in law or whatever...what gives him the right to say those things? again not picking sides yet just discussing your point

He was good enough to start every game? so why continue harassing/hazing him? sure cant wait for the info to link both sides together
