Seven Big Ten teams received bowl berths, including two BCSm - football

4 Big ten teams made it into the sweet 16 (more were invited) in the NCAA Tournament one of whom got second place.. Iowa went to the National Invitational Tournament and got second place.

I will grant you that 7/11 teams making bowls is pretty good, how many of those games do you think they will win? I think 2 is about the most games the big 10 can come up with this year and they are not off to a good start as they are 0-2 so far.
