Thank you for the post. I like the Mike Tyson pick for sure in boxing. Iron Mike was unbelievable in the 80's.
Fedor is an excellent fighter. It's harder for me to choose just one mma fighter to be the best. But I will agree Fedor is the best Heavyweight fighter of all time. Jon Jones in Light Heavyweight. Anderson Silva in between middleweight and light Heavyweight. Tough decisions.

any elite fighter is the same thing, man, money rules the fight scene for a long time ago this is a fact., you may not like Floyd Mayweather, but you can't disagree with his skills as a fighter.

I agree with you regarding Mike Tyson. He really was a great fighter. Another great boxer was Muhammad Ali. But Tyson has incredible explosiveness and power, or we love it hahaha.
In MMA, we can consider Mc Gregor a great fighter, despite all the overvaluation due to the media, he still has good results. Mc Gregor won in several categories and has already ventured into boxing as well. If you don't know the numbers and your career, consider doing some research before saying anything about Mc Gregor.

It is really hard to say who is or was the best. Tyson in my opinion is def a all time great. Would have been great to see them meet in their primes for sure. I actually have more respect for Mike now years after his career is over. Because of the people Ali beat in his career I would have to place him as the best. In MMA it would be John Jones hands down. His life outside of the ring is a mess and has cost him more than he will ever realize, but inside the ring he was incredable.

If we have to pick one for me it's either him or Chuck Liddell before his problems with a glass jaw or some type of brain injury happened to him. Jon Jones is something like 28-1-1? Sorry don't know if you score a no contest like a tie and I may be a little off on the wins too.
