I watched this as it happened and I have to say it is most impressive. He catches the pass, then not only jumps OVER the defender, but does a FLIP and nails the landing! Well played Jerome! Well played!

Its funny, cause in mid-air he seems to grab the defender slightly to help right himself, and he lands square on his feet. Imagine your own self cutting a flip like this, and even holding on to the ball. Listen to the commentator - "I hope the league doesn't come back and outlaw this." I'd like to see teams sign gymnastic freaks that can cut like ten flips in a row heading downfield - just imagine the horror. Teach one of those guys how to also hang onto a football and I'll buy season tickets!

I saw it too, it was really a risky play by him seeing as he could have just dove for the endzone stripe just as easily and not risked losing the ball or injuring himself. It's kind of like a 360 dunk in a basketball game when it's not necessary. Sometimes trying to show out like this can get you in trouble, other times it gains you popularity.
All in all, I like the move and that guy is very agile. He's young so hopefully he can turn into a talent that Cinci can tap for years to come. He's a great pickup for that team and another sign that things are looking up for the Bengals.

I didn't see it as risky much. Maybe the defensive guy looked bad, but he just looked as shocked as the rest of us as it happened. FWIW, I've seen the jump over 100X as I watch the NFL Network, but love it, never gets old. BTW, ATL, we got a 100% participation in my league, and all very glad to have been there. Sorry you missed it, uh, I mean last year. lol And yes, Jerome Simpsom is amazing, we'll be seeing that forever, as we've been.

I was at this game and was literally right near him when this happened. Definitely was the sickest td ive seen at paul brown stadium! Everyone kept saying "omg" after that happened!

You're so lucky to have witnessed that. So far, it seems that that is the best TD ever seen. From NFL channel, seems like he does that kinda stuff on a usual basis.

I'm very lucky, I don't see how it wouldn't be the top td from 2011! Flipping over a linebacker to score is unheard of!

He was just arrested with 2 & 1/2 lbs of pot. That is a lot more than the usual minimum for intent to sell. He's looking at 1 - 5 years in prison. What shame, and what a dope. (no pun intended).
Bungals lead the league in arrests since 2000 with 36 or 37. They are known for their tolerance and forgiveness to the criminal elements with a couple egomaniacs thrown in for good measure. Benson, Pacman Jones, Marvin White, T.O. (ego AND deadbeat dad), and now this. It's no secret that the management was enough reason for Palmer to choose retirement rather than suffer another minute there.

Not to mention Chris Henry, he was repeat offender that they gave numerous chances to until he finally got himself killed.

Jerome is trying to make a plea deal by giving up his source in California so he may get off fairly easy on this. As for the Pacman, Chris Henry, T.O. and the rest, at the heart of it all, Mike Brown has compassion... some would say too much...He gives people multiple chances and often times they go out and do something stupid after he has done so. Cant defend the actions of Jerome, just unfortunate he chose to go this route.

Jerome did get off pretty easy, even though he will get suspended, and I hope he is successful on the Vikings. Seemed like an awesome athlete, it's too bad he couldn't live up to his full potential on the bengals.

OMG, 15 days in prison, is that it!?!?!? He has to have a great lawyer that found some legal 'out', or someone got paid off. Glad to see he 'landed' at a good spot (hopefully) with the Vikes to take the heat off Harvin since Sydney Rice is gone. Just hope he keeps his nose clean (pun fully intended).
