I'll lay it on the line.. I'm a baseball guy.. love football.. but at the end of the day I'd rather be at a baseball game.

I've been really lucky being a Phillies fan the the past 3 years...

What's everyone's preference ?

Played baseball for 10 years and loved it. Don't play anymore just cause to focus on grades in school and not good enough to go far so not worth it. I love watching football though (basically any sport) and watching baseball sometimes can be sort of a drag. 162 games of 3hrs watching can be a little boring but i really don't have a definite answer though

I love baseball during baseball season and football during football season. I am a diehard Red Sox fan and a diehard Patriots. But in the final analysis, I think the scales tip ever so slighty to baseball.

ive been to like 50 red sox games and have never been to a patriots game. i feel like i'd enjoy a pats game more, but sox games are always great because i can get home via public transportation so i can get blackout drunk and dont have to drive/worry about parking

I am assuming you sneak something in, those friggen beers are 7 bucks a pop at fenway. I went last year twice and had a blast.

I enjoy watching baseball live, but will not put it on the TV unless of couse if it is playoffs and Yankees vs Redsox.

I watch football every week and even teams I could care less about.

I'm 63 now. I played baseball, softball untill I was 55, both fast and slow pitch. I do not care to wath it on TV though. I'll watch football of any sort. College, pro, ufl, I don't care. I have a class A type personality and the speed of the game , contact and diversity of the plays keeps me going. I, not like many others, pay a lot of attention to what's happening on the line. Like to watch matchups develope there and holes develpe ofr the runners or how the defense wiggles it's way through.

X2486.. that was hilarious.. always been a big fan of Carlins...

A lot of people say that watching baseball is slow.. I'm a season ticket holder.. go to about 30 games a year.. and try to make all of the playoff games I can.. Something about being at the park puts me in a good mood..

Football i'm more ok to watch on a tv.. Love watching a good game in both sports.. just I think there's a lot more to baseball.. Not to mention 162 games versus 16..

I'll watch a baseball game in a heartbeat. I like watching football a little more, but I'd rather play a game of Baseball.

So you're saying you'll sneak it in your stomach or your bloodstream, but not in your coat pocket. :D

The only reason I would probably be at a baseball game is because I can't afford to attend a football game :(

These sports may be accepted elsewhere in the world if they didnt last so long. 6 hour baseball games 160+ games a year is ridiculous if you think about it

I bet alot of football games and have yet to bet on a baseball game. Wish I knew what to look for. I mean I have bet more soccer games and am still waiting to bet a baseball game.

I heard if you bet baseball and college hoops, you could be bettin year-round. Which would be ideal.

Gotta go with football. I grew up with cricket and naturally despise baseball (just kidding). But yea, football. The only thing that beats football for me is cricket and maybe, just maybe tennis.

I think you're confusing the term football as used in the USA and in this thread with football as it is known to the rest of the world.

Now, if this were soccer vs. any of the major 4 sports in the USA...
