Well, it is too early to say that Manchester City are the clear favorites of the championship. Yes, they beat Arsenal at home, but drew in a draw in the next round. Arsenal, on the contrary, snatched a victory over Aston Villa thanks to a ricochet from goalkeeper Martinez's head and are now 2 points away again with the game in reserve.:)

Arsenal has 2 points ahead City and a game in hand. I don't know what do you mean when you say that the goals are giving the championship to City

Arsenal leads and hopefully they will be able but to keep the advantage. City is more experienced and favorites to win (again) the PL.

There are many rounds of the English Premier League ahead. I don't remember the last time Arsenal became champions. Maybe then Henri and Perez were still playing there. But I may be wrong.
