I kind of agree with what you said about the whole matter but regardless of whether or not they accomplish to eliminate it from the game I will definitely still be watching.
The blues are stacked this year they definitely have a good shot.

I agree with you guys its part of the gam, but it seems like with everything they've done to eliminate it they have made it less about being part of the game and more of a sideshow. What hooked me on hockey was the emotion with which it was played. The fights back in the early 80's when I became a fan were more about two guys (or teams) that really didn't like each other going at it, now it seems most fights end with the two "combatants" patting each other saying good job.

Tough loss for my boys tonight, gotta point at least. Had another thought about current rules. With the new boarding / hitting from behind rules, anybody agree that there will be more injuries due to these hits because players will more frequently put themselves in bad positions because they feel they can't be hit or will do so even attempting to draw a penalty?

B's all the way!!! Bruin's fan born and raised! Was so cool to see them win the Cup in 2011 and have another shot at it earlier in the Spring. Tough years as a B's fan growing up, but they've always been my #1 sports team!

Sharks are the clear winners of this years NHL, guys. 
They had a perfect start, lately things didn't go so good but it will upturn soon and Stanley Cup will go to San Jose.
To the fighting issue.. I really don't like efforts to limit or even stop fighting. It's hockey. Fighting was and should be a part of the game. I'm strongly againts some insidious fauls and unfair, unsportsmanlike things. But fighting is definitely not one of those things.

I'm looking for a repeat,the Black Hawks still have great goal tending, an some young quick skaters,not much in size, but like I said (quick)I know there aren't any teams that can match up to them,so it's an easy REPEAT this year for the HAWKS!!!!! as so much for fighting, I played for 20 plus years,I played in one game the first period took an hour and a half because of all the fights LOL, it's just part of the game,some players need to be kept in check or they'll just cheap shot you all game long !!!! :icon_blac
