We got a qb for the first time in decades, go to true number one wr, matt forte, briggs, peppers, tillman, jennings ect.

Made some moves in FA best of which was signing a competent LT..guy seems proven. Our O line still needs a few pieces but its coming along.

Anxious and excited to see how the draft plays out as the bears have a LOT of options.

WORST offseason move by far was not resigning urlacher...the qb of the defense..WTF were they thinkin?

Hopefully there are some bears fans in the house and this post doesn't get bashed all to hell...lol

Cutler's attitude is absolute shit. Just cuz he can throw the pigskin like a rocket doesn't mean the Bears have a qb.

Probably that he hasn't finished a year healthy in 3 yrs, is moving into his later 30s and probably was running a 4.9 last yr during the season.

I am being generous with that 40.

This things don't turn around in FB; the sport is just too brutal on the body for 36 yr olds to think there will be a dramatic uptick in their performance at 37 or whatever.

The 1st pick in their draft made me throw up a little in my mouth....but I liked the rest of it.

I really think Martellus Bennett could be a 60catch/725yds/8+ TDs kinda TE with the Bears....he just turned 26 and is in his prime without too many miles on that body, is a big target and can run a bit.

If we get Alshon going (even 55 catches would be fine), Bennett to where he basically was last yr plus a little and BMarshall just has a mediocre yr (~90 catches) we become an elite passing team in the NFL really with Forte being a top 5 receiver out of the backfield.

A lot is predicated on protection though.....we will see.

I mean I like them and all. You know I dunno what to say. What I said was a stupid answer so I can understand your confusion, but it was also a badly phrased question. He should have said something like "Do you like bears?" then we wouldn't have this big kerfuffle of confusion. Yeah that is what we should do, blame the OP for this big mess!

Urlacher retires

No more Brian Urlacher, there's some Bears news. Good guy, great player. Aside from Urlacher, I do like Jay Cutler. Yeah, he's kind of a grumpy, snarly guy, but I can see the Bears going deep into the playoffs if he has a great year.

What odds are you willing to lay....

I mean their obviously not favs. to make the playoffs, but if you lay me some decent odds, I might be tempted to gamble with you.

Like 3:1 they don't (not binding; just talking) might get me tempted.

Their problem is the defense is really getting old in a hurry, and I am still not sold on the OL.

ROFLMFAO....no, are you joking. The team has't made the playoffs the last two yrs and just keeps getting older on Dfense...plus losing BU hurts in a meta sense even if his play was down.

How about 2.5 : 1

Complete opposite here. GO PACK GO! Hope you guys can play your whole season like you started off last year... love a good competition for division champs at the end of the year. I don't wanna see a team get it clinched early on. Best of luck to your Bears, they will need it.
Hope I was polite enough, I hate fighting over teams, and who's better and who's gonna win what. Any given Sunday...
