Seriously looking at the Heisman race this year..... Gino Smith had the early nod but now that he's looked human and WV isn't winning I think he's lost it....that leaves four major candidates in my humble opinion....
1. Colin Klein- K St
2. Jadeveon Clowney- S.C.
3. AJ Mccarron- Alabama
4. Kenjon Barner- Oregon
Now I'm a die hard Alabama fan so that kind of skews my opinion on who the front runner should be but putting my allegiance aside I will give Klein the lead but in that conference I don't see him leading K State to an undefeated season. An undefeated season doesn't guarantee anyone the Heisman but it certainly goes a long way with the voters. Clowney is obviously a dark horse but in my opinion well on his way to being the most dominant defensive lineman in the country.....I hate SC by the way!! Mccarron just wins....and after his performance last week he has shown that he isn't just a great game manager but a performer as well..... all I can say about Barner is...... he's a hell of an athlete but I don't think he would be doing what he's doing anywhere else but in his conference..... Love to hear any of your opinions and ROLL TIDE ROLL!

And you prob. won't agree with me on this....but KSU would beat BAMA if they ever played. Klein can't be stopped.

Coming from a huge SEC fan and an even bigger bulldog fan, Jarvis Jones should win the heisman. too much emphasis is put on offensive players and especially qbs. aj is great, but jarvis is a play maker. LSU will upset Bama tonight as well. My only worry is that will eliminate any SEC team from having a perfect record, and would prevent them from playing in the national championship game. The best team in the nation could be from a conference outside of the SEC...scary thought

I agree Jones is a beast....and he's definitely an All American. The question is....would Georgia still be the team they are without him??? I think they would still have the same record they have now without him....just my opinion. As far as KSU and Klein go.... I do think he will win the Heisman but as far as head to head UA VS KSU.....it's laughable to suggest that they could or would beat us....I personally think Vandy would take KSU to the wire. The SEC defenses are to fast for BIG 12 teams.....hell for any other conference in the nation.....hence the last 6 BCS champions. Klein is the man to beat for the Heisman with Mccaron not to far behind but the championship goes through T-Town!!!!! RTR!!!!!

I'll also note that Barner had one hell of a night tonight(over 300 total yards) and propelled himself to the top of the lists also. In my opinion as long as Oregon doesn't lose to Oregon St. they have the road paved to the NC. KSU may be able to beat Oregon but unfortunately the voters are going to look at the "what else have you done in the last 100 years" factor lol. I'd love to play Notr Dame in the NC just because I hate them so much but I think in the end it will come down to Oregon and KSU....with the nod going to Oregon. RTR!
