The NFL Draft starts on thursday. Can't wait! It also takes place on friday and saturday. This year's draft will be interesting since no one really knows what is going to happen. It's a lot different from last year's draft since there are no star players like Andrew Luck and RG3.

WHO DEY!

Looking like Line men (def and offense) are going to be the top 3-5 draft picks.. Can't ever remember that happening before.. Just curious how my team (Detroit Lions) go with #5? Would like to see them take CB Millner if he is available but they will probably go Def Lineman again.

Hoping to see a couple Mountaineers (Geno Smith and Tavon Austin) taken early on Thursday but this draft is so weird this year it's hard to predict where anyone will go.

Im glad they agreed to stop tipping the pick. I like it when I get to know right when it gets announced. When they start tipping, theres no reason to watch. Im an Eagles fan and hope they get a good draft. I think a lot of teams are going to trade up or down because the talent is really spread out. And when a couple of teams start liking one player because of position need, a lot of trades happen.

I think this draft will have ALOT of NFL ready players and future players as well. Stacked but does not have the wow from last year.

This year's draft def won't get the attention that others have in the past but it will still be interesting to see what moves teams make.

Its always interesting years later when we get a clear picture of the guys that were hidden gems. This year's draft is hazy from the get-go.

Been watching it both nights - not used to seeing so little excitement about quarterbacks. Glad Geno finally got taken - interesting to see who the Jets let go lol.

I hate that Geno ended up with the Jets. Hope it works out for him but I have my doubts.

Two good running backs. Packers offense will be tough if their new running backs can stay healthy.

Geno Smith fired his agents. He actually thought he would go #1 in the draft.

I heard about this... A lot of talk about how Geno handles adversity, but quite frankly this doesn't make him look too good. If you can't handle being picked in the first round, what are you going to do when you're riding the bench or losing games when you're playing??

It was the knock on him at WVU too. He preps like crazy but if things start to go against him he pouts like a school girl. The NY media is going to eat him alive. :(

As an Arizona Cardinals fan - I really like how my team drafted this year. Finally adressed the OL. Got a couple of decent pass blocking RB's too.

If the Honey Badger can stay straight he may end up being the steal of the draft. Can't wait to see he and Peterson playing on the same team.

Does that have 'prima donna' written all over it or what? The kid is totally delusional. Does he really think all these teams haven't looked at films or studied the body of work? It's been common knowledge for weeks if not months that there were no true lock franchise QBs in the draft this year. And the fact many teams were QB desperate this year hit it home even more.

AZ had a fabulous draft. Almost as good as the Vikings (what they did with so few picks was nothing short of miraculous). Also think Mathieu is truly gifted and NFL ready. But should he falter with the drugs, it would be tragic, and a huge blow to the Cards.

Pissed that Justin Blackmon screwed his team 4 weeks for failing a drug test. Not a Jags fan, but really, aren't they bad enough without this? Sounds like he lost millions, what a dumbshit. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...blackmon-takes-financial-hit-after-suspension

You don't say why but after drafting a center round 1, they're stupid too. Atleast Jerry Jones is. That guy probably would have been around 2nd if not the 3rd round. I think Minnesota made out like bandits, got the best value, and totally nailed the whole draft and all their most critical needs in round 1. Bravo!!!

Doesnt make him look too good but I dont think firing an agent is that big of a deal. Him saying he wasn't going to return initially was a bigger deal. In the end, he's still young and it'll take time for him to learn. Some people never change but some learn from their mistakes.

Wait a minute, wait a minute...what is this?!? Like Leon Sandcastle?!? lol All I gotta say is I watched him at the combine with Steve Mariucci, and he looked stupid, And you can't fix stupid. Maybe he was nervous, and being somewhat articulate isn't everything. But it's not a position you really wanna roll the dice on on a low scoring Wonderlic test, like Dallas did with Claiborne last year with a score of 4.

Really curious to know the circumstances of his agent's firing though. Is there a lot of contractual negotiations to be done soon, or was it a knee jerk reaction grounded in pride and humiliation?

It was reported on ESPN at the end of round 1 that he said he was going home and wouldn't be back to NY for round 2. He quickly changed his mind on that (it was a dumb thing to say) and went back. As for his Wonderlic, I actually heard his wasn't that bad (I wanna say 25 or so). Tavon Austin otoh scored a 7 or some such stupidity.
