New internal alpha released last night, we are still testing. Thats all I can say for now. PS: Some great new yet very simple features wil be included in the next version PT4 that we are testing right now. Our NoteTracking system actually is the most sophisticated on the market. Spend hours creating highly complex notes in NoteTracker, then do the same in our competitor's application... PokerTracker is easier to accomplish this, and more flexible. What we are lacking are things that only appeal to single table players and people who look at the marketing of our competitors product without understanding what multitablers really need. It would be fairly easy for us to add things like spark graphs but in all the research we performed we found that these things actually interfere with the decision process more than they help.... it creates screen clutter, an over-abundance of information actually makes the decision process slower which risks missing a critical decision on another table. The negatives of our strategy is that shiny features sell software, the positive is that time and time again we hear from people who switch that tell us how surprised they are that NoteTracker's interface is easier to use in-game, and makes the decision process more effective. Sometimes less is more... its counterintuitive at first, but once you get used to our method of combining information into a line rather than listing individual hands then you might agree with us. BTW, NoteCaddy sells packages of notes.... we include our packages from Shaun Deeb (Tournaments) and Jeff Hwang (Omaha) for free. The built in notes system is a base for you to build upon, its designed so you can create notes for your unique needs rather than a one size fits all strategy. In the end the best thing about both PokerTracker 4's free NoteTracker and the add-on NoteCaddy HM2 solution is that you have a choice. Pick whichever solution works best for your needs, its not a competition, you should chose whatever fits your workflow. Badges are a different topic altogether. PT3 users will remember our built-in autorating system, this was monolithic.. it is not helpful in the long run to tag someone as a Rock or as an Eagle, we chose to remove this from PT4 because we did not wish to encourage bad habits while playing. In its place we are working on a new system called TagTracker... this allows for the automation of tags to be assigned to a player. For a sneak peak take a look at our tagging system for hands... now imagine if that was automated for players. This is the future of PT4, we intend to have this available for our users this year. Sure, it will take time to code and finish, but we will do so intentionally to make sure there are no major bugs when it is released, we pride ourselves in releasing new tools only when we are done, unfinished work is not acceptable at PokerTracker, our users deserve this! - TT
