ACR "you can't click anything there" bug

How many of you guys and girls have seen it? I started a new thread cause the problem is really annoying me and on other threads this subject most likely will not get much attension.

I gonna try to explain. You run the program. ACR main window opens, no matter whether you use auto login option or not. But after this, you just can't do anything. Nothing is clickable.

Ways to solve. Some of them help sometimes, but I'm totally not sure. Maybe this behavior of ACR is just random and it finally starts by ifself only, not due to my attemps to make something.

- Killing ACR from the Task Manager
- Killing Windows Update process
- Stopping Avast Antivirus for a while
- Full re-installing the program
- Conflicts with Holdem Manager (sometimes ACR starts working after killing HM)
- Reset the Adobe Flash settings
- System reboot
- Run ACR while there is already one program copy running

I will add something if I recollect other ways. But, as I said before, I'm really not sure about any of them. Sometimes one way helps, sometimes other, sometimes absolutely nothing helps and you just have to wait until ACR reborn again.

I'm already exhausted of trying to find the root of the issue. When the problem comes it's really really annoying. Could someone help me? I would be glad if you give me any possible idea what to do. Sometimes ACR works properly for a long time, and sometimes doesn't work at all for a long time too. If any of you have experienced this please post there something about. What helps you to make ACR work these times? I don't think it's provider's problems because ACR starts to work without changing anything in the network settings. Same provider, same network, but sometimes the soft works and sometimes doesn't.

I can record a video if you want to see what bug I'm talking about.

I know what you are talking about. When the client first loads, none of the links or buttons are clickable. It is designed that way. They only become clickable after the the promo popup becomes visible.

If you click anywhere on the client, that popup may get hidden behind the window you are clicking on. Do an Alt-Tab to cycle thru your windows to find it. Click the close button on the popup, then you will be able to click on your links and buttons.

All of that other stuff you imagined would fix this problem is not doing a thing for you.

Only issue i have really noticed with ACR is i get alot of script errors when it first loads up i just close them all out and keep on rolling.

I can see this window all the time, no exceptions, but closing it doesn't help a bit. I close this promo window, then nothing is clickable like it was before. Nothing changes.

Damn. I closed and reopened ACR just to make a screenshot how it starts. It was a sick idea. Now I see I have to reinstall the program again cause the bug is on. :-(

Yes, that is the promo window I was talking about. Sometimes I get, or used to get, an error message in that window, but that was a couple of months ago during the DDoS attacks. I do know that you cannot do anything with the client (on my end) until the promo window is closed.

Perhaps there is something that your ISP is doing to prevent you from closing this window correctly, in order to release the client. Not sure.

Not sure what you mean by "the bug is on". Doesn't sound good.

As Shady Slim said, its a small window tab that sometimes gets behind the client. You are not able to see it and it blocks everything until you close it. The window looks like this:

Make sure to press Alt + Tab until you see the window or a similar window, then close it.

It always hangs for what seems a long time waiting to fill in the promo window and cycling the Beast and Sit n Crush counters. I suspect it's just the amount of internet activity at the start from the counters and all the cute display sections. ignition startup is about the same so the only real solution would be to remove or delay those promo windows with their displays and links.

I've never seen the security window but will watch for it just in case that timing out is the problem.

Which Internet browser are you using? That window is the News Window, you should be able to see the promos that we have at this moment. I think this is very related with your browser. Do you have it up to date? Also, please check if you have the Java and Flash player updated.

I'm using Vivaldi browser (Chrome based). It's the default browser on my system. It's always up to date. I don't use any VPN soft on my PC, I don't need, I have only VPN browser extention Browsec.

It only happens when you try to open the cashier? The rest of the tabs and windows work fine? Does it get stuck on the white loading cashier window?

Somehow the bug disappeared today. I don't know if this happened because of Java updating but the only thing I did on my PC is update the Java. Pah-pah ACR works properly. I have rebooted the system for about 3 times to make sure. Last 3 or 4 days, I had to reinstall it every time I want to play.

I still see this little 'illegal operation error' window sometimes but I can play with it and this window does not bother me.

Thank you very much for this important information. One of the IT members is asking me if you can try to use another browser as a default browser to see how the application works with that other browser, use Chrome or Mozilla. Not Opera, please. Let me know how it goes. Don't forget to update the Java and Flash player.

ACR started working properly this morning with the same browser after updating the Java anb now I'm playing. But if you want me to, I'll check it out later with Mozilla or Chrome. As I said before, Vivaldi is Chrome-based and I think it's not a big difference between them, they have the same software engines.

The only thing i notice is sometimes when i register for a tournament it doesn't take me to my game and I have to get out of the site and go back in several times.
