it seems to me, that they are getting rid of all the low stakes and concentrating on the higher stakes, figuring that they will get more rake, sadly, everyone is leaving and that means less rake. Hope they turn things around soon, or it will bankrupt itself.

On the other hand...

The daily casino spin has 16 options in total and two of them are no-win sectors.

So there is only 12,5% chance to land on a no-win sector. Yet, I manage to do that again and again, day after day.

That's okay Stars... The feeling is mutual.
So u spin this wheel already for weeks/months and u still believe it's random, right? 😅😅😅

Dose anyone like the direction poker stars has taken?
I'm not sure if the Variance I experience at pokerstars is increasing or I am becoming a worse player, however something has changed at PS. and I don't think it is helpful to players at the lower $$ levels..A few years ago when playing NLHE Knock out tourneys on PS I won 25 tourneys in one year,,,today winning one is very difficult?? Variance? RNG? something has changed

The current state is not very good. After PokerStars stopped holding our cool CardsChat freerolls, it no longer arouses my interest as much as it used to.

I think that with the advancement of ggpoker they were far behind, the tournaments are still the same, but it's no use if they don't move forward and improve.

Obviously no. Volume has been declining for 15 years, and it hurts game selection and everything else. Even just 5 years ago, before Covid, there was far more activity in SnGs and cash games, larger fields in MTTs and more different games to choose from. But less and less people play online poker, and those, who still do, increasingly prefer newer sites like GG Poker and WPT Global. And at the end of the day the past is not coming back. So we can either play on PokerStars, as it is now in 2024, or not play there. Those are our choises, and it does not matter, if we like them or not.
Why do people prefer WPTGlobal? It seems to me to be a no frills site but with high buy-ins, not a lot of choice/selection, no chat, and software issues. I play it sometimes when I can get the software to work because of the Cardschat freerolls but would certainly never choose to play there.

After they changed the policies and removed the freerolls in which the prize was money, it fell a little in my opinion
