Pokerstars and neverending updates

Hi all,

I'm struggleing to run pokerstars on my android phone. It worked perfect in the past, but more frequently updates are appear which you cant skip.
They not even ruin mobil internet faster but requier more and more space to your phone. And the very next updates the worst: I cant register for an MTT cause the whole client will start over again from the sign-in.

So are there people here who think that many updates have been brought this sites capibility to smooth play to the end? What do you think, why they just cant stop and listen to users voices?

Yeah , it is irritating so many updates , on my android sometimes I go to register 5 min before freeroll or game , only to see there is a new update , so time runs out and sometimes I do not get to play the game . In the past these updates had as a result a message to appear saying the source is untrustworthy , so I had to dowwnload again and again the update , sometimes i had to to erase and download again the program from the beginning . The problem was solved by choosing '' enable updates from this source '' despite the risk factor , I found this choice , now everything is good . The pace they require I think is not big , it's normal imo Very funny the update that appear exactly some minutes before 21:00 or 22:00 lol

So I experienced some of the conditions and sharing with you where it came:

- I can only play from browser with Pokerstars.eu. There's no way to download it to phone, and the platform looks like you are playing in 2000's.
- You cant play freerolls, there's an another version (Elite maybe) where you can play in chips only, but freerolls are not showned up in both that's why I'm missing all of the CC weekly games too.
- There's a limited games you can play. About 400 games are showned up in the rush-hours which is not so much.
I was playing on 2 tables and when I logged in the mobile version, 1 or None of them were found, it meant that I was sitted out like I wasn't in the lobby. Furthermore, if you are regged in your computer and that game is not supported from the mobile version, you will be sitted out just I said.

Months ago everything went smooth, but now they ruin the mobile version. And I would say if you can, don't relate on playing your MTTs on that device, cause you are not capable of doing each of them, and the platform itself slow and difficult to play in, not like it was in the past.

Yes, they are annoyed, it is easier to play on PC. I think updates appear when new events!

This is so similar to 888. Their software is updated very often on the computer version. And often or even every time my antivirus program swears and identifies 888 files as unreliable. I have to add these files to the antivirus exceptions.

You can always play 888 using instant play - this way you can avoid possible updates lol

Sometimes, these updates are actually very annoying. Moreover, I even believe that more than half of these changes are not significant. But still, maybe the developers see the need to make these changes, and therefore, all we can do is come to terms with it.

It is not in the Play Store, and the official PS site only give me the oppurtinity to play on browser.
I had PS.eu before, but as many games were not working, I decided to remove it and download again, but I am not able to do this anymore.
So I do think as once I could work on my phone with the mobile client, the problem is not with me, its with their attitude about limiting things as if they bring the players more entertainment - but its not the case, and many of us feel like this.

generally the updates of my pokerstar application are made automatically and not at the moment I have not had any problem with the update

Real money apps are never available in the play store. So you can no more download the app on the official site? U get an error or what? What country are u playing from?

It seems after the most recent update (yesterday, July 21... but may have happened earlier as I'm not playing on Stars daily), the software display has reverted back to the terrible version of Aurora (where it is difficult to see my cards, where note display sucks, etc.).
Is this happening again for you now too?
How can I get it to go back to how I've had it for the past 6mos. ??? It is so bad again now that I won't be able to play on Stars this weekend and I was planning on playing 2days worth of MTT's across a number of sites for the first time in at least 6mos. (I typically only play cash games these days)

Hello my friend. You can no more go back, aurora is mandatory now.

Try to play with carbon light theme and turn down/off all animations.

not so many updates, pokerstars is very good, and also you can play on the phone without any problem, it is my favorite.

I'm keeping it on Mercury or Black & keeping
Putting Graphics Quality on High

It is better than it was awhile back but I still DO NOT like it at all.
