PokerStars changing dealing cards rules?

Since the last update of pokerstars I received, it looks like the rules about showing hole cards at showdown changed.

I betted on the river and I got called.. I show my cards, my opponent mucks his hand... open the replay, cards are hidden...??

Yeah I Noticed some thing like that... about three weeks ago i stopped using my HUD, I found that I couldn't see what cards opponents called with...

Maybe I should go back to the HUD but I've been doing so well with out it recently....

I'm not sure HUD are the reason because I never used one and I was able to see them in the replay.. but since 2 weeks, I don't have really the needs to go there.. I mean, at show down, I'm beaten so I see the cards or they fold on bet so can't see them.. and it wasn'T something special for PS, it's in the rules... The Robert Something's rule..

ACR wasn't allowing it in their last version... Hope the update will!

I do not know of your opinion, but in my pokerstars, it's only getting worse in every way, it does not have good freerolls, the big tournaments have a very big field and besides, it was very difficult to get any bonus.

Yes, PS has big field of players, but also there are great prize pools, this room is not for freerolls, if you wanna play it 888 will be much better for you

Few years ago there was a lot of freerolls on PokerStars, almost everyday. Now they have freeroll when there is some big event, like SCOOP, wsop or others. Like was said upper, PS is not for freerolls now.

This does not prevent PS from being the most famous and largest room. There is always a lot of game.

I don`t know about u guys. I`m Brazilian, actually, and here it`s usual to hear people complaining about Pokerstars.
They say that what happens in Pokerstars, happens only in Pokerstars(too much bad beats). I know that Brazilian guys, in most of them, do not play poker with the best pratices, but the guys who told those things plays in a good level.
Said that, How about u guys, are u feeling the same?

I know that in some states, or countries Pokerstars is not allowed.
But if it is for u, please, give ur feedback.

Here’s what someone once told me about online problem of too many bad beats. It’s not that there’s more bad beats. It’s just as random as any other live game. Thing is with online there’s just way more hands played per hour versus regular live play. Thus increasing the amount of times a bad beat is possible.... just think about it.

But this week I am suffering. Many bad cards and many beats against. Losing many hands.
These downszings actually seem to exist. These stages are very difficult.
This week has already started very difficult for me, I can not play, it's bad behind bad

i trust PokerStars to be fair and honest more than most sites. PS is a company worth 5 billion dollars... with a B... billion!!!
i no think they risk all that - to rig the flop when i play CC freeroll.. so i never win?

Pretty much this. And as KristaK pointed out there is too much at stake to risk it quite carelessly. That said the only true form of manipulation that I could imagine in the slightest would be analysing decks coming from the shuffle servers on their ways to the tables and discarding non-action hands in order to increase rake.

But the community has accumulated billions of hand histories so any irregularity should be quite easy to expose.

Okay so way back in 07 i played a lot on FTP and i was winning a lot of tournaments and crushing, so i put 200$ on pokerstars and couldn't seem to win anything and lost the 200$ playing micro tournaments.

FTP was still my favorite site cause i had the best results there at the time but i felt like something was wrong with pokerstars RNG because i was not winning anything... i don't think i even cashed in a tourney on stars.
But if pokerstars was open to US i would most likely be playing there anyway.

That being said... we don't remember the times we got lucky and won, we only remember the bad things that happen in poker. So it feels like there is more bad beat then lucky win. Cheers!

I'm from Russia, we have a client PokerStars, called PokerStarsSochi. In our poker society, probably everyone expressed their opinion about moving to PokerStars, first we talked about crazy Romanians, then about crazy Chinese, now they talk about crazy Brazilians )). From this it is clear that it is not a nationality, and true to the PokerStars client do something, before 6-7 years ago, such a huge number of crazy crossings was not. I think that this is because of the large number of players, before online poker was played by few people, and therefore the game was quiet, the more people playing the more crazy the game will be. If you think about it a little bit it turns out everything is logical and clear.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the PokerStars client !!! I am sure that everything is in the players themselves, or rather, how they play !!! I do not see any sense for PokerStars to deceive people, they already make huge money !!!

I already have a week of losses at Pokerstars, but I cannot say that Pokerstars are deceiving their clients, there were days when I was very lucky.

No offence, but when im playing anty kind of game against brazzilian, there is always the same thing, they are "gamblers" not poker players. They always try to be lucky and usyaly they are, but when they loose, they starting to complain.
