Pokerstars Broadway Challenge

Anyone else doing this challenge? You generate a certain amount of rake every day to get a Broadway card. You get rewards for collecting all four of one kind and royal flushes. I've been playing pretty steadily and this has been the result.


Is this what they usually do or is it supposed to be random? I am almost willing to wager that I am going to get all the aces the next four days.

You will need to read the TOS to see, if the cards are random or not. They might not be, since its a promotion and not part of the actual game. So I would not be shocked, if your next 3 cards are all aces. Unless the TOS state something else, this is not breaking any rules, since its just a promotion. However the challenge runs for 15 more days, and you only lack 8 cards. So if possible why not play 8 more days and get the full grid, which should be a decent 30$ boost to the bankroll.

As in the past, this is a challenge to encourage people to play games every day. On the other hand, a good way to get something back from the rake. It goes without saying that the profits are not paid out in the first few days.

Yeah I agree. And maybe it is just a coincidence, that your cards fell, like they did. But on the other side it would not be shocking, if a poker site designed such a promotion to make it look like, the first 4$ reward might be right around the corner, while in fact its not

Not difficult to fill the card , did it last time when Austrians were still eligible for that challenge 🙄

And yes as far as I know it's totally random which card you gonna get

I'm pretty sure they just give out each card per day, and don't double up. I've not had a double yet, and last years I didn't either. Its the best promo Stars do in my opinion

Yes some nations are excluded. Last time I had this challenge this time there isn't any .

You haven’t reset your boxes have you? I remember it wasn’t offered to me last time till I rose my chest level. You get different bonuses sometimes. That $44 challenge I got twice in s row a month or so back. Not 100% as I’d need access to more than one account for comparison.... Think I’ll ask someone if I actually make it to the casino like I planed later this week.

this challenge should have nothing to do with resetting the boxes. we got excluded of quite some challenges. the challenge chests where you can win some rakeback are gone for good. got a mail about that from Ps some months ago .
also it took me months to get back to gold chests since I downgraded last time to complete the chest&ladder challenge more quickly. wasn't worth it

Yes that Snakes Andy Ladders was Bs, I did the same to get them for the extra spaces then proceeded to miss everything good..... TrickStars came to mind at the time. Smh

But yer kill of my chests often as I like the jackpot game in the corner. If you play it within 12 hours of someone getting a spin and they hit the jackpot you get a share so I drop all the way back down every week or two when I’m active.

The thing is that it's not even close to being around the corner if the cards fall exactly right to make the payout not happen as long as possible. And even that isn't exactly shocking but it's still crappy design.

A promotion like this is done to increase profits for the sites owners. And if someone chase after rewards without getting them, that increase profits. So its actually a very clever design. Just like those pages, where you buy airplane tickets online, and where you need to be very alert to not end up purchasing a lot of unnessesary extras. Or for that matter get the lowest price. Like airlines poker sites are not philantrophic organisations. So people just need to get past this idea, that everything, they do, has to be good or "fair" for their customers.

At the end of the day this is still 30$ of free money, if you intend to play anyway and fill the entire grid. And many countries like sweden can not even take part in this or other promotions. So which do you think is better? Being able to take part in a promotion, which might look better, than it actually is? Or having no promotions at all but still pay the same rake?

I'm just looking for transparency, which by the way there isn't because nothing in the TOS talks about how the cards fall in this promotion.

But sure, some kind of reward - a sort of rake back - is better than nothing at all. I just would have liked it better if it was just a progress bar if that's all it is. I already have trust issues with the way cards fall so it's not exactly reassuring when I run into these kinds of games.

Honestly I don't see any difference of rng on any site ^^
But I guess that's different for everyone . I feel the same way about GGpoker at the moment.
Oh and replaypoker where the Team League takes place gives me bad beats constantly 🙄.
But it still could be worse ..yesterday I watched my teammate play and someone got his nutsflush beaten by runner runner quads there .LOL

Playing the CC Party yesterday lost 5 or 6 flips where I was ahead trying to knock players out. I was chip leader for most of the comp and removed from the mayhem on FT and clinched 3rd at least
