Its so sad, iam from germany and i had no chance to grind these freerolls. Its normal that ps had these limitation for the german players. Its because of the regulation. In germany there are the rules, that no freerolls allowed. It should the players protect from getting addicted to poker. They think that freerolls are the first step to getting addicted so there are no freerolls. But in fact of it, the german rules are limitating german players to build a bankroll from nothing.

Wonder why GG doesn't give a crap about these rules haha. Alas ....few freerolls there.
But this week there will be two 500$ freerolls and one 200$ freeroll from VIP Grinders at GG.
Germans are eligible.

But im wondering how GG does it with many nations...
For instance : Technically gambling and poker is strictly forbidden in China...and yet millions of Chinese users.
My only explanation for this is that GG is bribing China big time to have their players online

GG bought Breakout Poker room with a lot of Asian players somewhere back in 2019-2020. Thus GG acquired a lot of Chinese players, and particularly me, too :D However, GG does not have License in Bulgaria, so when I tried to verify my account they asked me to show a document from another eligible country. I could not and they froze my account after tranfering back to me my whole Bankroll at the time.

Many thanks to the author of the OP! Good luck all CC's (y)

not bad bro but I want to see how you will get that - too many players to get on top
and my good game is not enough because the program always spoils everything in those tournaments

Also gambling is forbidden in Japan and they play also there ( and say they are from the Philippines, or many other locations in the pacific area)

I wonder also what the GGL has done that PokerStars is following the rules so by the word/or GGL representing persons.

I think it has do something what has happened in the past during a live tournament in Berlin.

Maybe to get the license in Germany has been bound to something we don't know.

It sounds like conspiracy theory but there has to be something why PokerStars behaves other than the competitors in the German market,
all other competitors have freerolls as they are 888poker, GGPoker, partypoker or bwin.

And I think they all are heavily observed through the deep view inside their business through the LUGAS-System (system to enforce that you can not play more than 4 tables at the same time by logging into all poker rooms and play on each room 4 tables).
This LUGAS System is malfunctioning, it should block login attempts to tables of another pokerroom for 5 minutes after you left the other pokerroom.
But mostly leaving GG-Poker to 888poker or PokerStars you have sometimes to wait for more than half an hour before you can register there for a tournament. PokerStars has build in an option in their settings that can reset the flag in the LUGAS-System.

Yes of course, China was just an example.
And I still think it's because of a mixture of legal loopholes and bribing officials ^^

PS got freerolls too but it's the only room where Germans can't play them .

Yep that's one reason why so many "Poker Piefkes(this is self ironic)" went to Austria, the other is taxation of winnings.

Yes that's of course the main reason, the casinos need to pay gambling taxes not the player.
Although technically they would still need to pay Einkommensteuer since poker is their fulltime job

It surprises me that more countries aren't like the UK where the government taxes the gambling companies but not the winners.
After all the companies make much more than the winners, so there is far more tax to be raised that way.

Germany taxes the companies and the winners, and I think the license to operate here is also not free of charge.
Most tax systems operate on the formula take small amounts from many, instead take big from a few.
This brings a more steady cash flow into the states financial system.
Big companies can easily find ways to avoid taxes, what is not so easy for the masses of countrymen.
A move for a single person or family is a bigger financial risk, esp. if you are not top middle class in income.
Most are not able to do that 2 or many more times because the move limits your financial resources.
Changing your country is no easy move and is always a risk.
Mostly they are not able to switch locations like a big company with many worldwide offices or letterbox offices.

I still can’t understand why people have been playing on the PokerStars site for so long, because this one has outlived its usefulness
Agreed ,but it's free , so might as well try 🤷🏼‍♂️
