So I play tons of freerolls and I play on different platforms. Lately I've been playing on Pokerbros and I ran into an agent called AcePoker444! This guy is on Twitter and YouTube. I thought he was a legitimate agent until I tried to cash out my funky $10 I won in a freeroll he invited me to. However this guy attacked me and blocked me when I simply tried to cash out. I went on to expose this on his Twitter and YouTube and the next day he messaged me on discord after he had blocked me saying to send him my cash App so he can pay me. In return I had to delete the tweets. I denied to accept this payment because this was only to clear up his social media from the truth about what he is doing in the poker community. This post is just to warn the community of agents like this scum agent Acepoker444.

I don't know this poker site and I don't know the agent either, but is it possible that there are certain requirements for you to be able to cash out at all? At some poker sites, you can only withdraw if you have deposited something first. But still, the story remains funny and questionable and thank you for warning us about it.

No this has nothing to do with withdrawal requirements. This guy claims he is an agent for clubs on an app called Pokerbros and the club ran
a freeroll on Sunday for $4000. So I cash for $10 then he made it seem like I only cashed for $3 then when I tried to withdraw he got rude with me and blocked me.

There are many fraudsters and it really sounds like they are fraudsters. But I'm not allowed to judge so quickly either, I think, but if I were you, I would be careful that they can't get hold of my bank account details who knows what else they can do. I also wanted to say that the word funny shouldn't sound like whether it was funny but that I found it rather strange. The translator doesn't always translate correctly

Supposedly there are legit agents on Pokerbros, but I have seen too many sketchy reports about it since I first came aware of the site to even consider it.

btw I would have told him if you want my posts or tweets removed it will cost you $1000 now. The $10 was for cashing the tourney, now you have made it more complicated!

But I like what you did none the less!

I dont know much about those clubs and pokerbros in genereal. That being said, i think agents like this try to bring traffic to the clubs and the guy clearly was not happy that someone just trying to "value-hunt" and then possibly disappear again from there. Also the amount is pretty low for a withdraw.

Im not defending him, i think he comes off pretty unfriendly but i kind of understand that he (or agents in general) does not like this kind of behavoiur and probably saw no value in you as a player of his club. Not get me wrong i am just trying to explain the situation from his side of view.

Did you ever pay any rake there?
Did you ever deposit?
Are there many freerolls in this clubs and are you also member of other clubs with freerolls?

Yeah you are right about him trying to bring traffic to the club because in return it brings in money. However a freeroll is a freeroll and there is no limit to withdrawals or rakes that need to be paid. No deposit requirements. Also he tried to deceive me saying I only had $3 dollar when it was $10. Clearly this guy was up to no good from the start.

Yeah I thought about doing something like that but that would have opened up a whole different can of worms. I pretty much would be black mailing him then I think. I didn't want to take it that far. I hope he learned a $10 lesson.

Like EmptyHouse said, you should probably avoid those new poker Apps like the plague. They are full of bots etc. & are alleged to be linked to mafia style crime groups. Stick to the big reputable poker sites where your money is safe at least.

Unfortunately this is more common than not, If you do not already know the agent, I would not even bother playing.

I'm pretty well versed playing on the main poker apps and in a bunch of clubs/unions. Never heard anything about them being linked to 'mafia style crime groups' haha

Where did you hear that?

I run a club on the poker bros app as well and I offer bonus' and promos. I made sure to put in the rules "you must play 100 hands with any bonus or promotional chips before you can cash them out" just so I wouldn't run into this issue. With that being said tho it's $10 he should have just been able to send that to you and end it right there. Smh

Sorry to re open a long forgotten thread, but I just seen your question today; I'm not sure were I originally heard this & a quick google search didn't show anything that I had opened before, but I've definitely heard Jonathan Little say something along those lines. And I have a naturally dark & pessimistic view of the world so I have no problem believing this to be the case... But let me reiterate that I have no proof or inside info to back up my accusations. Just the mad ramblings of a suspicious mind..

For these reasons they preferred the old-school poker rooms.

I think you could create https://www.buymeacoffee.com/ or similar, where poker players grateful for finding unreliable agent could donate to make you for this $10 spent. Appreciated, btw.

I've dealt with a few different agents and they all had a minimum of $50 to $100 to cash out. They also usually limit the number of times you can cash out per week as well. They do this to try to stay as far under the radar as possible. I still currently use one agent and he does a $50 minimum to cash out as you will find most do. Generally people with $10 in their account play it until it's gone or run up to something worthy of cashing out.

Yeah I mean maybe a single app, union or club I could see perhaps having links somehow but these days there are numerous different apps that all seem to be competing with another and owned separately (Even GGPoker owns ClubGG). There's probably 100+ different unions and thousands of clubs operating at least.

I think the whole point of having an agent is to provide better service than dealing with the club directly. I don't know many clubs that have minimum withdrawals at all so if an agent said to me min cash out was $100 through them I'd just find another one tbh, unless you know them personally or something.
