I couldn't fall in love with GG poker because I already loved pokerstars (I think I'll love it all my life, no matter how much I lose)
but I have lost a lot there(in pokerstars but still like it)

GG is a top poker room! Great software, balanced hands, great visual effects at the table. This is where I feel most similar to offline poker. Sometimes there are very generous promotions here. I only wish there were more freerolls, but GG can afford to target players with money as they have created the perfect environment at their online tables.

There most US states are eligible to buy tokens which you can use to enter MTTs even to live events.
Said tokens is their own currency and can be transferred to real money.

To be honest I looked into that when it first started. At one time it was not allowed in my state but it was quickly resolved and now is allowed. When I looked at it I love the idea behind it and the theory and I don't mind playing on a subscription site especially if I can get into certain events but the negatives for me were trying to play some of those events if I were to win my way into them. This was at the beginning when it first came out so I'm sure it's different now but I think I'll take your advice and give it a look again.Look into ClubGG !

There will certainly be comments both for and against this site, my opinion is of course a middle one, at the beginning of the journey to GG, I won something, but lately it seems that my inspiration is less and less good, losing some funds.

Today, ggpoker is one of the best poker rooms in the world, I don't know why you are complaining about this room, it is incredible, if you mean that you lose a lot, you should accept the variance, that happens in any poker room.

GGpoker the variance is just the same as everywhere else.
Also GGpoker is the best platform these days with the most traffic.
Numbers dont like.
Plus have you not seen the numerous post of people on the forum achieving good results on GGpoker.
More time studying instead of posting controversial topics and you might see a difference.

This Room looks very nice at first glance: good software, nice player pool, more or less good support, availability etc.
Unfortunately if u dig a bit deeper u will realize that they are not: Superuser(s), Agents, forbidden countrys, banned accounts for "bumhunting", false country flags shown. Just to name a few issues there.
Definitely not one of the safest places to play. People who say that are completely uninformed.

To be fair most of those issues are probably not a big concern for micro or low stakes players though. But if you are a high stakes player, especially in cash games, you might want to think about, how much money you have sitting on GG Poker, or how much time you invest. There are also threads in other forums claiming, that high stakes cash games on GG Poker are so highly raked, that the only long term winners are GG Poker sponsored pros, since they get a special rake-back deal.

This was a very interesting discussion on Junglemans podcast on youtube.
Where Daniel speaks with Patrick Howard who runs a staking group for high stakes cash game called Mobius Poker.
They spoke about the current rake rates across multiple platforms just like you mentioned @fundiver199.
Rake at the high levels is basically killing the game and the average reg is only winning at 1bb per 100 and are only making money via rakeback deals.

GG is now definitely number one in the world of online poker. I would not swear 100% about his safety, given all their commissions, the war with funds, constant changes. In terms of the number of games and their variety, the room is also in the first place. A lot of bonuses. the only thing I don't like about it is the design for a casino.

Plus the issues with RTA, which can not be solved, unless the usage of webcams or similar are enforced. Even Doug Polk said years ago, that he see no future for online high stakes cash games. This is not specific to GG Poker though. I mean... good luck to anyone trying to play high stakes cash on 888 Poker. They will be lucky to even find a single table of 100NL running these days

Never play GG poker enough to give you a justified opinion. But I did it on ACR and Replay, and the truth is that I don't like them as much as Pokertars.

In my opinion, GGpoker is a good reliable site. Of course, it's sad that they stopped running our freerolls, but overall I've had a pretty positive experience playing on this site. I accumulated a fairly large bankroll and when our freerolls were stopped, I withdrew this money without any problems.
