I can't play Party Poker

Whenever I try to sign up for a freeroll a message comes up saying.

Error
"This is not a real money player"

And I just can't register for games.

Does anyone know what could be happening, has this ever happened to you?

This has alway been the case at party, you need to make a deposit before you can play real money games.

This never happened to me, but I think on PP you need to make a deposit to play any of their freerolls.

I haven't been able to play there for about a year now. For some reason, they decided to leave the market in my country. It's sad. I loved this site and especially our cool freerolls. I envy those members of our community who have the opportunity to play there, you guys are lucky

I suspect the reason they would leave a country is that the cost of a gambling licence is more the the profit they were making in that country.

Yeah it makes a lot of sense. Even a small deposit like $10 makes it easier to verify, there is a real person behind the account, and not just someone creating 100 accounts under fake names to play freerolls or get the daily freebee

It's well worth depositing on partypoker if you're a newer player looking to build a bankroll... and you'll also get to participate in the Cardschat games on Partypoker. fwiw, (imo) they are by far the best games on Cardscaht and have been for the past few years. They have fewer number of entrants and a far better structure than any of the other CC games. There's a few members who are half decent players which would also give a newer player an opportunity to get better at this game.

ALSO, if you're planning on making a Withdrawal from an online poker site in the future, you're going to be needing to deposit prior to making that withdrawal anyways... so you might as well make deposits on all sites you intend to play on and do so as soon as possible. (there's no point in winning if you can't withdrawal the $$$'s)

partypoker is one of the best rooms at the moment, but in my case I no longer play at partypoker because they left my country, it's a shame because it was my favorite gaming room, I hope they can come back again.

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't even need it 'proof of residence' to open an account and make a Deposit.

Read the post above mine (by other member). I think many others would also agree with him. Honestly, just for the chance to play in the CC Partypoker games alone, it is 1000000% worth it to make the deposit (even if you lose all of your deposit on the tables but it's not like you're losing anything at all by depositing on a site).
