Yes, I play Spin and Go on poker stars, also Blast on 888 and Spins on partypoker.

I generally only play at lowest levels and mainly to complete challenges/promotions and get rewards. I'm marginally profitable, say around 5%,possible higher, I don't really track, just see my bankroll go up.

The game can be frustrating though with the variance. Can go 20 games down in a session to bounce back and be a couple of games up at the end - so having sufficient bankroll is one of the keys, being good heads up is another.

When they gave out a free daily 1 dollar sportsbet I played a spin and go every day to qualify for the free bet. I think it was a dollar buy in minimum to qualify for the free bet. I would always play flash spin and go and almost always either fold or go all in. I think if I recall I broke even or a little better on the spin and go poker side and then of course picked up cash on the free sportsbetting. I miss that promotion but it sure went on a long time

If you are a beginner, you should first of all pay attention to our free course and our freerolls.
The beginner's course will help you to better understand the basics of the game, and our freerolls will help you to build a bankroll.
As for the Spin & Go tournaments, they are essentially bingo tournaments, and your skills and experience will not matter much.

They do power path ticket now, so just play 1 spin at 25c, get a power path ticket. It's not an amazing bonus but not bad and I'm doing ok out of it. I play 1 spin on stars everyday just for that as part of my freerolling/bank roll building 'routine'🤣

Yes I was doing that for awhile too but I got so sick of the time consuming nature of it especially the 1.50 level. I found the 1.00 level not quite as bad and if I survived the first table I would try and intentionally lose and win 1.36. I have been so ready for that power path to be gone for months now.

Lol. I used to do that as I was rebuilding my roll from zero and the $1.36 had more utility at the time🤣 Murphy's law: I'd often get it in bad deliberately and end up 'winning'🤣🤣

Spin and Go's are the most tilting poker format for me. The crack cocaine of poker.

They are high variance but that doesn't have to be tilting, it only gets that way if you allow it to.

In fact you can train tilt out of yourself with them, a bit like exposure therapy.

You get to a point where you've seen every conceivable bad beat scenario a hundred times and it just rolls off you eventually.

This format doesn’t impress me, it’s marking time, no income.

20 buy ins down is nothing in this game type, the swings/variance can be extremely.
There are reports in other famous poker forums of 1000 buy ins downswings.
Just use Google and search for “spins and downswings” you will find a lot of stories there and if they sound unbelievable.
Trust them even if you go AI with the better hand (lets say K9o vs. 72o) short stacked, the board will help more than often the villain.
It not only a lottery draw in the prize money but also in the endgame.

Superb bankroll management is a must even at the lowest stakes, if you want to grind these games start with an 100 buy ins Bankroll (25 cent ones)
and if you go up in stakes add at least 100% of your former BI count for the new Buy Ins so for 1 Dollars you need 200 buy ins and so on.

Perhaps watch some life streams on twitch,
easygoing11 streams a 100 days challenge on GG from $10 to $10000, these are 6 max spins but also interesting.

1000 game loss isn't a downswing, something more fundamental going on there🤣

Hello! Welcome to CardsChat! I have moved this to our Poker Rooms section, so that more people will see it. I know a lot of players play Spin and Goes.

Don't worry about your English. In most sections of CardsChat we have an automatic translator. Write your post in your native language, and it will translate to English when you submit your post.

Yeah if this is really true then this player probably played way too many tables, was tilting etc and/or not a winning player in the long run on the buy-in level he played.

1000 buy-ins lol 😅 and no I won't google.

If life only was that simple. I've seen it all during 20+ years online.

I've been a winning poker player online since 2003. Did "semi-retire" 2013/2014 and only play for fun now.

I had to play through tilt because of my personality type. Fortunately, my game on tilt is better than most players' A-game. But since Spin and Go has such a small edge it's probably the only variant I have been losing money on. Should almost always only be played when given tickets for free.

I can smash my keyboard when I lose Play Money. No form of mental training has been able to calm me down when I get a bad beat. I just have to accept that.
