Getting Sick of Bovada

I have been playing on this site for over 10 years and as far back as I can remember the connection issues have been terrible. On multiple occasions I've been disconnected for the night and in the morning, most of the time will have returned my buyins. This is getting frustrating and terrible to deal with.

I also thought about what happens if you played an MTT and the site crashes, they don't return the players money that already busts, so what happens to that money. I'm hooked on this site and I've been playing here for so long but it's really becoming a daily nightmare.

That is definitely correct, at least this has happened to me several times.

Frankly, It's BULLSHIT to invest 2 or 3 hours into something and then have the site crash. Not just once, it happens a lot. It may be time to jump to ACR

They had server upgrades. The announced it but still went down a couple times they shouldnt have. This doesnt happen often though. WPN has problems on a regular basis. Im just happy all of them are using bitcoins now!

Yeah, after they maintain the server
disconnection happens very often.
switch to cash games..cash games are not afraid of disconnection issue.

ACR has the worse server connection problems of any site I've ever played.

unable to buyin - sitting in.
Zoom constantly disconnect...lost several midium pot.

think it is better not play Bovada for a while.
their service is pretty bad at the moment.

Its frustrating.. I'll give it a pass because they are good on the refunds, and its otherwise a pretty good site... Just got kicked of 3 double or nothings and was about to cash in all 3 of them... I heard they some times do refunds based on chip stack so hopefully I don't get cheated out of my potential winnings

I have been having similar issues with Bovada the last few weeks. Some days are fine, and others, it drops me in the middle of a hand or I can't even open the tourney pages (cash games seem to stay up though). I hope they fix things soon!

yeah, it drops everyone at the same time, the servers are crashing... if i had to take a guess, i would guess that the servers can handle the traffic, and they have to restart the servers.... im not sure if they run their own servers or if they contract out their servers... id be willing to pay a slightly higher rake if they could get servers that would handle the load...

Bovada is very juicy...but unable to win against a lot of disconnection
today I 4bet AA not all in and dis connected and ...have nut flush , but disconnected in the river...all lost ...these two pot. feel sick.

esp happened in Zoom, no disconnection protection.

I like Bovada and the tournaments are probably some of the biggest nightlies and weeklies offered to US players but I also got a physical mailer (like from the postman) from intertops Sportsbooks with bonuses and offers and have been playing them during the outage. Def smaller site, older software but offers rewards, rakeback, and regular deposit bonuses.

So there are other US options but Bovada seems to have the most and easiest traffic.

i hate ACR player pool is tough as nails and the servers are just as unreliable... except when ACR goes down its down all day instead of an hour

i hear good things about bet online. might make a deposit there, but i think ill still grind on bovada primarily, the pool is just so soft.

yeah bovada is very juicy
if they are provide a little better software, I would not go anywhere.

BTW: ACR is not tough... I have collected some hand history, some regs plays for like 15K-30K hands/ month, did not win.
but they loose their money very slow.
