I have a frozen account on PStars, for two weeks now, with no apparent reason or explanation why.
Every day I send them another email. Twice they have sent me an auto-reply which says nothing, mostly they ignore me.
Is this widespread?

So, what did you do to get your account frozen?
They don't just arbitrarily freeze people's accounts without cause.

Once my account was frozen for several weeks. The reason for this was a check, because I was suspected of creating multi-accounts. But after three weeks, my account was unfrozen and I played for several years without any problems. I think you need to be patient and just wait.

Do you need that poker account at all - I recommend you think about it

1.I will not lose my money again
2. I will be able to devote my time and thoughts to something better than poker

Think about it, good luck!

It's high time to know that pokerstars is the garbage dump of the poker industry, they treat players with disrespect, as well as poker forums, removing freerolls from 5 forums at the same time.

You must have lost a lot of money if you are already so mad at pokerstars

Don't worry, I haven't been successful there in the last year either (and I know why I'm not successful, because they want money from me)
with today's technology it is easy to influence online poker and i know it - you want proof - i have it but i will tell you only when we meet in person

those freerolls were just a trap to attract players - don't you understand that you have to put something on the hook to be able to fish

Never had any problem with PokerStars. Apart from losing money, of course! Was going to consider GGPoker but the reviews of it on TrustPilot are overwhelmingly negative.

Some explanation should be given to you or contacted to return your money if they close it permanently. They do these things when they see suspicious movements with the accounts.

It happened to me in the past too, they blocked my account claiming that I was colluding with other players.

But after the Pokerstars security investigation, they found nothing and unblocked my account, in fact it was all a misunderstanding on their part.

I have nothing against Pokerstars, although at the time I only played Cardschat freerolls, almost all of my withdrawals were released, some were held for security investigation, but in the end they ended up paying out.

Today I still have some balance in my PS account, but I haven't played, I'll wait and see what the future holds.

Hi :)
I didn't have such problems with PokerStars, but they also didn't respond to my emails or took a very long time to respond. I think if you didn't violate anything and didn't resort to any manipulations, everything will be fine. Please tell me, have you gone through the verification procedure at PokerStars? Maybe your account was frozen for a random check and confirmation of your identity?

You'd make your decision based on the reviews on a site like that?
Out of curiousity I went there and read the first 5 or 6 reviews. All of them are the same as you'd see written by a donkey on CC who is terrible at poker, knows nothing about variance or is just starting out.
Do you think many of the good, well accomplished players flock to that site to give a review of GGPoker? (or even ones who know how to play?)

I find nothing wrong with the site and obviously thousands agree as it is by far the busiest site in the World today. The only things I don't like about the site >>> the rake is too high in the cash games I play (but it is this way because of the gimmicky stuff they run, ie. 'jackpot hands', etc. BUT at the same time, this brings out the loose, gambling donks which also makes it so much more profitable to play on those same tables). The other thing I don't particularly like >>> the MTT rake structure. Before you get to the money bubble, average effective stacks are very shallow and once in the money, same thing... you'll be on tables where most of the table is sitting with ~10bb's. :(
MTT regs. are all playing on the site as it is the most profitable one for most of them. (way softer than Pokerstars in the lower buyin games)
