Free Chips On PokerStars

I am just curious to know, who the hell would buy chips for fake poker games? I get free chips all the time, never paid a dime for any of them, I just go to the play game zoom million dollar game and voila, free chips every 4 hours.

Interesting question. I have always thought that free chips are intended only for general familiarization with the rules of the game. And I really am curious about who buys them and why? Perhaps this is done for those who have not reached the age of majority and who is forbidden to play money on the law. But in general it looks rather strange.

I do not see the point of playing for free chips at all, because they only worsen the general understanding of poker, because they have no value and players take a random decision.
Therefore, I do not advise them to play, let alone buy.

PokerStars gives out free chips, which is a good way to practice after a long break. I can't explain why people buy them. Maybe they have nowhere to put the money .

I do not think that anybody who can play with the real money buys them.
In some countries ( for example US ) citizens are not allowed to play 'the real' poker and are limited only to paper money and for them play money sites may be the only alternative.

My opinion . If there is a supply of goods, then there is a demand for this product. When I started to play then they gave only 2k chips if you completely lost the bankroll of chips.

I do not know why most people think that playing with virtual money is meaningless because I do not think so. When I was learning to play poker with virtual started and after I learned to play virtual chips made millions just with them I tried all kinds of poker and learned to play all games.
