My experience with WPT (deposit withdraw and drama)

I have made an account on WPT global months ago just to play the CC freeroll (lets be fair theyre logiciel is terrible eating your CPU alive and you cant acces any history on casino.poker about hand history and game history wich is insane IMO)

I was also playing another freeroll there and manage to get a 55$ ticket to a satelitte then won the satelitte for a 220$ seat :

Then the downpart started when the ticket i won was incorrectly name ONLINE day 1 ( it was in ireland i couldnt play it anyway but i was hoping to have an amazing pratice on a 220$ day 1) but turn out that after all it was only live even for day 1.

I try to contact them explaining them the situation and asking if they can replace it by a ticket for next month so i could play it but they never wanted to help and send me a global spin 1$ ticket for the incovenient ( i know it was won from a freeroll but it felt ridicoulous to give back 1$ for a 220$ mistake lol) Then when i ask for supervisor they stop answering...O well not the best experience but i was theyre for free and at least i got a 1$ back LOL.

Recently i saw @Gritz18 posting about never raking and been able to withdraw.I was pretty surprise since they usually never do that.

WPT Global withdrawal policy​

1. All players must make a first deposit and wager it (bet it) at the tables before requesting a withdrawal. The "wager" rule applies to all subsequent deposits

Reading that i had even more doubt but i decided to give it a try anyway and deposit 30$ ( wich give you 5x1$ spin and 2x5$ wpt satelitte ticket and 5$ for casino flips) And then withdraw


Surprinsingly everything went perfectly and i was able to take out as much as i wanted without raking ever on the site and it was in my bak account in few hours.

Then today i played the free 5$ casino flips ( its a casino game like baccarat a bit) and got 0.38$ back of 5$ ( Thats why i never play any casino game unless its free losing 12 hands of 14 with a 1/2 odds lol)

Since i got eat alive so bad on the casino flips i was curious to recheck the stats and hands but couldnt find anything about it so i decide to email them and ask about where i can find poker/casino game history and this is the email i got back :



So wait when they misslabel a 220$ tourney i get a 1$ spin ticket back but just cause i ask where is game history they give me a 5$ ticket? Not sure how it work but you guys should write them and ask for game history maybe you will also get a free 5$ one haha


As a leech ( i dont contribuate neither rake there ever having my main room as partypoker) i cant complain since everything is for free but i can imagine that been a paid player could get very annoying there with their inconstancy and a 1998 logiciel

Well at least they gave you something, I've requested my hand history and they said it's not available (probably the only room that you can't have your own HH). But that's not the worst for me, the worst thing is their software that you can't do anything else at the same time because their software is too slow. I don't play there anymore for a few months, so, don't know if things are getting better or not.

Actually im saying the opposite bro XD I never rake myself there and when i saw the rules about raking the deposit first i was expecting my withdraw to get denied

It went tru very smoothly thx to you for that and your thread cause i was not depositing there been sure ill need to rake forever before taking anything out

So yeah very true that you can withdraw without raking on wpt ^^

Pretty sure WPT Irish Open is always held in Ireland (weird how that works)

I hear you can get way more than $5 just by asking while out in front of a 7-11 (sure I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know)

Taking 5 dollards from a hard worker who is coming back from is 11h shift in front of a store or taking it from multimillions corporation,,Hard choice For me i just see it as free cash to get better at the game specially how bad ive played this week end

PS : I would vote trump We need an iron claw to fix all that mess rigth now ^^

. I don't play there anymore for a few months, so, don't know if things are getting better or not.

Unfortunately it seems to be just as terrible as it always was
It was many months ago now that they stated that things were in the works for improving the site. Instead of doing anything about the massive CPU heavy site, they added some colors to the card backs (&/or other insignificant stupid stuff).
This past week there has also been a number of glitches reported (see WPTglobal discord page if interested), some of which were fairly serious (ie bet-sizing preflop, where a 3Bet is able to be made by only adding 1/2 bb to the previous bet. (ie. UTG raise 3bb, MP calls 3bb, BU raise to 3.5bb). It's crazy!

The site has some great potential but they tried to get things kicked off prior to even having a decently working site to begin with (mechanically working I mean). Even though they had some great promos, having to play them on 'that' site was pretty terrible and today it is reflecting in the number of entrants in the tournaments on there (I've entered some that only had 3 players entered at the start of the tournament) & they have also adopted the VERY long LATE REG. entries too (yuck!).

imo, they've made some big mistakes. Here's hoping they can recover.
