I will leave some questions open, so feel free to answer any of them.

- Is there any proof that these bots exist?

- Are bots created by poker rooms themselves or by players?

- Are bots in poker rooms allowed or considered illegal?

Leave your opinion and let's discuss this topic.

I think the use of bots is not allowed. But I don't rule out that some poker rooms may covertly use bots to increase the number of players, and possibly for other purposes. But in general, it doesn't matter at all. If your bankroll is growing, then everything is going well :)

They were, are and will be.ACR has created a special board of shame, where information about botters is located, as well as data and specific figures - how much money the rooms returned to players after destroying cheaters' accounts.

Yes there's plenty on some sites. ACR and GG just name two sites that it's easy to prove have bots. Other sites have almost none or the bots play so terrible even a dummy who hasn't studied to advance his game in 15+ years can beat them.

Anyone who plays on pokerstars shouldn't be too concerned. If there's bots at the micro/low stakes up to 50nl where most of us play they're terrible.

Cheers!!!

Every site has bots. It is very difficult to locate them and verify that they are doing something wrong.

You've got to be kidding me.

Bots are everywhere and have been for a long time.

Two examples:

And what are bots for? Does the platform create these bots? With what intention?

It's mainly "players" that create bots to earn money. This has been proven many, many times.

Ipoker and GGpoker have been accused of having "house bots" that keep games going and to earn rake (but this has not been proven 100%.).

Common sense says to make money. As a player who plays mainly on Pokerstars up to 50nl full-ring/MTT's. I honestly don't care, worry about or think much about bots. I chose my main site wisely. I feel for those who don't have Pokerstars as an option. Trust, security, not dealing with a scummy and a scammy room has always been the most important thing to me. Pokerstars has it's issues not saying they don't but 20+ years I've never had problem with deposits and withdraws. Never really needed/used support. I hear it's not as good as it was thou.

If there's bots on Pokerstars from 2nl-50nl they sure are terrible at playing poker. Fact is I haven't studied to advance my game in 15+ years. Personally in my opinion and 20+ years experience playing on Pokerstars there are very very few bots playing at Pokerstars at micro/low stakes full-ring tables.

Here's some reading...

Cheers!!!

Yes, there are definitely bots playing online, and it’s been proven on multiple poker sites. While lesser-known poker rooms may use in-house bots, on the more popular networks, it’s often bad actors using custom-made software. I do think poker rooms could be much better at detecting and banning these bots, but my theory is that if the bots aren’t highly profitable, the sites might turn a blind eye since they generate free rake. That’s my conspiracy theory on the matter.

Well with your answers really, you can answer thousands of times and you won't be able to formulate an answer.

Maybe it's an intellectual limitation, but that's okay.

Maybe, a lot of times it seems to be impossible to win a hand or two without getting sucked out. Not sure that I’d bits at play or just variance.

I'm not sure about bots, but the fact that there are scammers and dishonest people who know or see the cards on the board before they appear is definitely surprising

I'm in tune with 888 poker, whenever the absent player goes all in, ends up winning, it doesn't matter if you have a pair of AA, the absent player wins with three of a kind, two pair, or something else, how many have already lost or ended up seeing this absurdity

I assume that bots are created by poker rooms. The reason for this opinion is that there are many freerolls with big cash prizes. I doubt that the poker room earns all this money from rake. And after all, you still need to pay salaries to office workers and have a profit.

I ask you this question my friends @pentazepam @hutzpaf @dreamer13 and @black and @hardongear because I often see players with strange actions within the game, let's take a small example: a player with 22 where on the flop A7J falls, the villain raised, and he is the leading chip at the table making strange plays from the beginning, then he calls the raise to the villain with 22 and this flop that he just forgot, the villain continues with the raise and he calls, finally on the river the villain opens KQ on the flop hits A7J58 and the hero with 22 wins the hand ignoring all the raises, so it's these situations that make me wonder if the poker room itself doesn't put some bots to make a profit against ps players, so what do you think about that, does it make sense to you?

The answers from you my friends @dregan @hilary antonik filho @kishamania @odonob @oriole are interesting, it is very consistent with what I also see in online games, strange situations, strange patterns, which for some reason repeat themselves and make us think about it, I believed I was alone in this impression, but I see that it is a sense common, it's good to discuss this because as said they are patterns, they are not random.

It seems like we have a crystal ball player in many cases.

In my experience with the Sunday Million small sample size aside because I don't play it weekly. I have cashed enough to say I have no issue believing it's fair as Pokerstars can make and fairer then many sites. What else can I think if a guy who hasn't studied to advance his game in 15+ years can still cash in it? It's not like I'm some great player....

Cheers!!!

For me a lot of context is missing that matters in this example. Buy-in size to start with. The smaller the stakes the more stupid shit you'll see that don't make sense like that. Most of that is because the players suck, are terrible and are so stupid they don't have a fold button. Hell there's a player in this very thread that has admitted to shoving 72. You can likely guess who if you can't now in another week of reading his threads you'll know who. I won't name them.

Now if that example happened in the final table of the Sunday Million I'd find that pretty sketchy and very off. I'd certainly be looking closer at both players using sharkscope and other such sites. But then I've never seen anything quite like that that I can remember the times I've watched a replay of the Sunday Million with cards faceup.

But where most us play(micro/low) stakes you'll see stuff like that. But then there's still plenty of morons and idiots at them stakes. You should have been around 20 some years when the players mostly all really sucked way worse. You'd seen a lot of stupid shit that never made sense cause their were a lot more morons. Every table was mostly full of them. Poker back then was almost basically a license to print money if you knew how to play.

Cheers!!!

The only one talking nonsense here is you, you're a fanboy of my topics, if you don't like it, just ignore it and answer other topics, but you're always here because you're a failure in life, you need to attack someone to feel better, that's what I see in you, in fact I could even feel sorry for your miserable life, but you don't even deserve that, so stay away from my topics because no one asked you to come here and no one cares about your opinion.

If you are not interested in our topics, just leave here fanboy, just ignore them loser.
