So, I've been playing at Betonline irregularly for close to six months now. Going back through my emails, I noticed that Betonline sent me my login details, including my password, when I first signed up. I've only ever dealt with a few other websites that just send out passwords in plaintext, and none of them have held my money or sensitive information before Betonline. It concerns me about how secure they are. Does anyone else feel this way?

No, I didn't.
It was the first email they sent me asking for me to confirm my account. The email included my password and username.

that is really bad situation.
would suggest you change the password immediately.
It might be from Betonline, but it could be some people from betonline mis use member's information.
so think change password is the best way.<- even if you don't have a good bankroll in your account, but your information still there like name, address, telephone number, etc.

PS: I was asked to answer password before get any live help from customer's support, and emailed me it is a requirement before get any help, it droves me away from Betonline and would never play on that site again.

I have not had a problem with security issues , but almost every day I get disconnected on BOL . usually I am just playing a freeroll so its just a bit annoying . if I was playing a big cash game or serious tourney it could be costly as well as infuriating ! I know its not my computer or router 'cause other sites ( like bovada ) are running smoothly at the same time . they need some technical issues resolved before I will deposit real cash .

I had the same experience when I signed up for BetOnline recently. They send the username and password in plain text right after signing up. I also got a call from a rep trying to get me to deposit right away. He was pretty pushy, but I said I wanted to at least try the site first. I'm not comfortable depositing when they're that insistent on deposits, Ponzi scheme maybe?

How many times has it happened and have you called and ask them about that or what?
