Hello community ,
I have a Bet365 account and I play poker now and then , I have this account to complement my sessions etc.
It's 3 weeks now and they have blocked my account with an error code LLO1 and I can't log in. I reached the customer support more than 4 times via the live chat in order to set a phone call. I am a resident of Greece , they told me that I will receive a phone call from the UK or from Malta.
Today this phone call indeed happened from Malta , I was speaking with a native Greek speaker , he asked me again for my personal information:
-Full name
-Address, post code
-Username
-email
-Date of birth
-Mobile number
He was asking me some questions like if I had any suspicious behavior on my PC or if it was lagging or if I had any weird phising type email or if I have shared any passwords of mine on the social media etc.
I answered every question and after that he told me that the Bet365 team have seen some weird moves in my account, like someone was trying to hack it. Also He proposed to me to make something like a doublicate account and my money must be withdrawn before that action.
I told his that I have a skrill account and I would like them to transfer my funds there , after five minutes of waiting for him to ask his supervisors he insisted that he wanted my IBAN, BIC, SWIFT and address of my local bank. I told him again that there is no possibility I would share this information and that I have a Revolut.
He said that this is the only way to withdraw my funds in order to create the new account. I asked him to send me an email of this which indeed happened.
Everything seems legit for me but I am afraid to share my IBAN etc.
Has anyone else had the same trouble with me?
Bet365 is a major company but still I have heard many scam stories the last couple of months and I don't want to be another victim.
I have received the email from the customer's support guy from this email ''support-gre@customerservices365.com''.
Any ideas?
Do you guys share you personal info that easily on the internet. Is my reaction too much here?
The number he called me was the +356 2226 6000
Thank you
