I'm looking to expand my poker horizons and would love to get some recommendations for good places to play online.

I’ve also spent some time on Ignition Poker recently, and I have to say, I’m impressed with the software and design. The site just feels really polished, and the user interface is clean and easy to use. One thing I really appreciate is the anonymity of players just makes the game feel a bit more balanced. It also has a nice variety of games and tournaments, and the software seems to run smoothly across devices.

If yall have any recommendations let me know!

There are almost no players on ignition Poker, so you won't get much action there. The best, but also toughest, site I think is pokerstars. An also great site is Bet365 Poker, where the level is soft. However, most donkeys can be found at unibet Poker.

I know a few players who are playing on bodog/Bovada/Ignition these days.... some from the USA and another from canada. All are full-time players.

People from USA are limited with where they can play. If I resided in USA I think I'd be playing on most available sites - ie. ACR/BlackChip, SportsBetting/Betonline, Bodonk (Ignition), Global Poker.

I'm guessing OP is from USA (the small flag in pic.)

I realize that online gambling is not legal for Americans. This was also the case in my home country, Denmark, until 1994. In the UK, gambling has been allowed for more than 100 years. I find it hard to understand that you can't play online in the home country of poker. Some say that the mafia makes money by offering gambling. Don't know if that fits. Black Friday in 2009 was a disaster. Suddenly, more than half of the players disappeared. And since then it has gone back smoothly. On average, there are no more than 30,000 cash players and 140,000 tournament players. Source: Pokerscout

I live in brazil and I would like to know how I can open an account at UNIBET because when I tried, in the list of countries it doesn't appear where I live.
Is there a representative of this application here in the CC community?

In California one of the chhoices is WPN(Winning Poker Network(ACR,BCP,,TRUE,YA). It appears to be fair, but like all poker, it runs good and bad. If you're stuck in Cali, WPN is a decent alternative. Other Cali freindly site is Ignition casino(poker is part of the casino. Ignition is my second favorite to WPN.

Unibet Poker has a unique software and the softests game available. In South America you can play in chile and argentina. As of now Unibet Poker does not accept players from your beautiful country, Brazil. Unibet is Sweedish owned and has Europe as its primary focus. The average number of cash game players is circa 400. Since it is a small room tournaments have low guarantees, and most are rebuys.

Thank you for your help, I hope that one day Brazil will be among the countries accepted by UNIBET... I tried to sign up for WINAMAX but I couldn't either...

Hi :)
In my opinion, 888 is one of the best sites out there today. The huge number of daily, even hourly freerolls makes this site special and very promising, especially for beginners.

I agree that the field is stronger on PokerStars, but not by much. Micro limits are basically the same everywhere.

I believe you. I don’t play at Unibet, since the highest stakes are just NL400. Unibet does not want real high stakes games Instead they are nursing recreational players. Nothing wrong with that. Just not something for me though.

Hi
888 is definitely worth a look. I can also recommend ACR or Betonline as an option, they are also good and reliable sites and I have noticed a lot of players from the USA there.
Good luck :)
