I just looked into it a bit more. There are Day 1's starting on December 20th. There are around 6 per day with the final one on Jan 1st. Day 2 starts on Jan 1st at 6pm UK time.

You can only play 1 freeroll Day 1 PER DAY, but this means you can enter 13 day 1's if you like. Not sure how it works if you get through more than once. Each Day 1 is played down to 3% of the field. So these will be tough.

I'm expecting over 1 million entrants assuming I've understood all this correctly

Definetly will be tough yes.
Also I'm pretty sure it works Like in any other stage/Phase game.
Multiple entries and the biggest stack of all entries counts for stage2

Don't sit on the top deck of the pokerstars bus.....I imagine its likely to drive under one of those low bridges and get stuck!!
