WSOP Launches Real Money Poker on Wed 5/22/13

I have been told this by my Total Rewards Host at Harrah's which is owned be Caesar's Entertainment which owns WSOP, that the On Line Poker site will open on Wednesday the 22nd. One week prior to the start of the Live WSOP Tournaments on the 29th.

I have looked hard but cannot find even a whisper of the opening in writing but I do believe my guy because he's paid to keep me happy.

If Dax keeps a version of this thread open in some form, I will post updates here as I receive them.

I understand the poker client will be ran by 888 Poker.

Hopefully yes, it will be soon and it will be open to all players from anywhere in the world, but only when they are within the State of Nevada.

This wsop website looks very promising. I have been looking to see if they are gonna open up online traffic to other states but it doesn't look promising. I live in Texas where the bible belt still believes the devil resides in gaming. Boo Texas!

Launch date is still some time in July...all that other talk about a May opening was just rumors. It's being heavily promoted right now at WSOP....but satellites to the main event is looking very unlikely for this year.

The site is still not up and running for real $ but they are trying their best to get rolling while the WSOP RIO games are still rolling.

Its not your server but the ping off your cell phone that must be within the state. Well actually I guess they could be using both but as far as I know its just the cell. The only players I know that have had issue were located near the boarder and had triangulation issues b/c of the proximity to the boarder.


As far as having a friend in NV, Im everybody's friend as long as it doesn't get me arrested and I can make a couple of scheckles.
