I think it's no secret Russia has had botfarms for a long time...., they are very good at using technology with botfarms in poker, bots spreading propaganda on social media, .... the strange thing with this case is they told on themselves lol... now why would they do that is what I wonder, are they so proud they can't shut up or drawing attention away from something else..., anyway the thing is I think is interesting is there is another article by Jonathan Raab on Jack Poker.., which is a site I've seen people promoting lately yet is has no documentation and that's generally a red flag. If you read his article you'll see why lol

It doesn't list sites, it does say they played $5 up to over $200 buyins, I would stick to older well known sites, there have been bots around forever so this is really nothing new but the newer fly by night sites have no protection at all

This was old news over 10 years ago.

Think of how more sophisticated the bots and RTA are today. Soon, things will get even worse with AI agents playing or giving advice.

I play mainly on pokerstars so don't think about it, and worry about it too much about bots. I chose where I play wisely. Also if the avg poker dummy(me) who plays micro/low stakes and hasn't studied to advance his game in 15+ years can still make decent side money the bots ain't that good.

cant play on 'stars where i live ,but the on the online sites i can get rakes are almost unbeatable in micro stakes ring and SNG action . small to mid buyin MTTs seem to be the last hope .

I doubt that rake on micro games is not beatable on those US Sites. On ACR u can even get some of ur rake back.

Yea I was thinking about this not that long ago. They have bots that consistently beat the world champions at GO and chess. So any online gaming is going to be very susceptible to AI bots.

Absolutely.

its why i only play on certain sites no matter how generous the new sign up offers are for these sites
