Player OGmaxou wins $1,000,000 in a $5 Spin on pokerstars!!!

Crazy thing about it, this guy rarely plays tournament-style poker on Pokerstars (MTT, SNG, Spins)... his sharkscope shows only a total of 42 games, with very few played in the past few years (2024- 3 games, 2023 - 0 games, 2022 - 0 games, 2021 - 1 game, 2020 - 1 game)

Thats the stories which you would read. What a farytell story. There are some much players which plays thousands of spin and gos and hitting a maximum 10 times factor. I also play it so much time but more than a 10 x spin was not in the line. I hope i would get some luck and hit a multibagger.

I'm sure he will now add more tournament style poker games to his games 😄

Looks like a true rec/hobby player. Very nice and congrats to him. Hope he takes most of it withdraws and it withj and hopefully he's smart and invests most of it. I'd personally likely leave only about 5k in my Pokerstars account to play with. That'd be more then plenty for me.

Cheers!!!

I think the other 2 players who participated take something like 10 percent of the prize. If I'm not mistaken, it's 800 thousand dollars for the winner and the rest for the other 2 players.

No, the winner takes $1m, as the tweet says.

But you're right. The other two players aren't left out, they get $120k and $80k respectively:

Have you ever imagined if hypothetically someone inside the company had access to bypass the system itself (like a kind of backdoor to escape authentication or encryption) to favor a friend, just like what happens in politics?

We don't have to imagine it: Russ Hamilton / Ultimate Bet

At first sight, all of this sounds ridiculous.

Letting aside the winning hand, which could be a proud PS Trade Mark example :D - this player's hand history looks like it is a matter of a Technician - who is checking the software from time to time :p

I wonder how much his opponent had left to justify getting it in with jack high on that flop. Talking about the winning hand

And if u mean game history when u talk about "hand history" then yes it looks indeed a bit weird but in the end it's probably just a person who is not into poker and who wanted to try out the game a bit here and there when they had some time or nothing else to do. Or a cash game player...
