Two-time wsop Bracelet winner, Steve Albini, died of a heart attack at the age of 61. Steve had been part of regular home games since his college days and considered himself a serious poker player, especially during the WSOP season. Still, his day job was as the owner and operator of Electrical Audio, a recording studio out of Chicago. A few bands he had recorded included Nirvana, The Breeders, The Pixies and many, many more. Steve was also a musician and played in several bands for decades.

Albini is survived by his wife Heather.

Rest in peace, Steve Albini.

A true great. His volume of work speaks for itself. I didn't know how successful a poker player he was but the man was a true legend in the music industry.
