The poker room at Caesars Palace closed up the poker room for some slight renovations and will re-open in time for the 2025 wsop at the end of May. With so many casinos having closed their poker rooms, this is good news for poker players in Las Vegas. The Mid-States Poker Tour has been rebranded to the Major Series of Poker: The Tour. The rebrand will be finalized by June 1, 2025. Back in 1977 a French rocker, Johnny Hallyday, lost a classic car in a poker game. Recently, the 1975 Panther De Ville was sold at auction for €132,000, which was well above its estimated value of €55,000 to €80,000. Johnny Hallyday passed away in 2017 at the age of 74.

Glad to hear it is re-opening - I was under the impression that it was permanently closed. I never played there but considered it when I stayed there last but was surprised to find it had closed.

The article is interesting. It seems that in poker, history and culture also go hand in hand.

What an incredible room! A true masterpiece! I would love to visit this place one day. It looks magical. Do visitors who pass by marvel at the paintings and works of art that seem magnificent to me?

The Panther De Ville car is also very beautiful. An old British neoclassical car. It is a shame that he lost the gift his wife gave him in a poker game. We can consider this a great lesson. In poker, it is best not to spend more than you can afford to not risk losing your belongings.
