CardsChat Short Stacks include WPT Media team dropped, poker trading cards and the next stop for WSOPC

This week in short stacks opens with the WPT letting go of their entire Media team stating their services were no longer required. It appears WPT has been cleaning house a bit at a time over the past few months. Today (January 31) the Leaf trading card company is releasing a set of cards featuring poker players such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Patrik Antonius and many other popular names. A box will cost $89.99. The next wsop Circuit event started yesterday (January 30th) at Harrah's Pompano Beach, Florida through to February 10th. After completion of this event, the WSOPC moves on to Harrah's Cherokee in North Carolina.

I didn't know the WPT award a title belt to champions. That's something I've pitched to a couple of tours before, being a former pro wrestler myself lol. I understand that's not what this article is about, but that belt looks beautiful!

Maybe we can include the belt for all participants in the Cardschat Colossus team, along with the T-shirt, hat and card protector. A huge belt like that would intimidate other players...maybe you could pitch that to Debi and Tammy LOL....they have a tag team event, why not have a 20 player WSOP team event?
