....so what can I do? Thought FT takes these cards. They used too...

I don't have a bank account, but I have the money on the card.

Ideas?

Is there any site that excepts these cards?

I've actually been trying to figure out the same thing. The prepaid cards are the only way that I like to deposit. I was told by AP on livechat that the "netspend" visa card will work there... or any card that is accepted internationally.... hope that helps.

Yeah it is crappy. I was just told by the AP people that it would work. So I go out hunting for one. I find one and just tried it and it didn't work. They're going to get an earful from me if it really ends up not working.

If it doesn't work that's fine. Just don't tell me it does so I go out and buy one and waste 3.95 activating the thing... not to mention the gas... and then come to find it doesn't...

I will report back after I speak with them

Card companies don't like using their card to fund pokers sites.
poker sites switch their credit card profiles.
Card companies can't keep up, or don't block everyone.

Hence, some cards will work on some sites. Some won't work on any sites.

For example, I had a card that didn't work on FT, but worked fine on UB.
I also had a card that didn't work on PS, but I waited two weeks and tried again and it worked then.

Update:

'Visa Vanilla' Cards do NOT work on AP. For a pre-paid card to work it needs to be approved for international purchases such as a Netspend card (which I have not been able to find as of yet). I'm a little t/oed that the AP reps told me explicitly that the vanilla card would work as I actually went to multiple stores to get one, paid the activation fee, came home, tried it, got declined, was told to call in, and then told that it wouldn't work.

My advice would be to open a checking account and save yourself time and trouble in the future trying to deposit/withdraw.

Try depositing in an uneven amount. THis worked for me quite awhile ago on DoylesRoom. Support suggested it to me after the card wouldn't work for me. Once I entered an uneven amount (ie. $34.82 instead of $35), it worked.

I use MoneyBookers. Had trouble with my card, so opened a moneybookers account and it worked fine. Don't know much about prepaid cards but I would assume you can link it to moneybookers.

Full tilt doesnt take visa cards or any prepaid cards. I think you have to deposit by e-checks.

ultimate bet seems to work fine for me, but only if i get visa's from my bank. If you ask the clerk for one, they dont have that little "a gift for you" on the bottom of the card and they are blue, haha idk why but those have worked every time for me

Yeah, I'm not sure anything works in the states anymore. The only thing I've heard of working at all recently is a card called the "netspend" visa card (which I've found at Sonoco gas stations). And apparently this card only works on AP and UB.

I'm not sure I'd trust that though. The last thing they told me would work didn't work at all, and then they refused to acknowledge the fact they led me astray...
