Problems With Vanilla Visa Pre-paid Card At Poker Stars 09/21/23

Hi Everybody,

Is anyone else having troubles using Vanilla visa pre-paid cards at poker stars? I have used them as a means to deposit for 10 years and now they won't accept them. The say " Your transaction has been declined. Please contact your card issuer for more assistance." every time I try to deposit with a Vanilla Visa pre-paid card.
Does anyone know why the Visa corp. has changed the rules? Why do they all of sudden find online poker to be a security risk?

I'm not certain about the Vanilla Visa but the mastercard Perfect Gift card had the same thing happen (I too have used these cards for quite awhile.. ~15yrs.).
I discovered that they've put a max. deposit amount of $75 Cdn. on them. So when depositing on Stars, if you were to keep your deposit at ~$53.00 it should work for you (& then just make multiple deposits depending upon how big your card is &/or how much you'd like to deposit).
Once I did this, I was able to use up my Cards (which were $200 Cdn. each). It took me a couple of days to figure this out along with a bunch of google searching.

still no luck. tried the MasterCard limit trick but it didn't work. Visa has cut of gambling it looks like.

Talk to Visa. The haven't changed a thing. SO it looks like a Poker Star problem. Waiting on an update.
