Do you play poker while at work? Do you risk your job for it? Are there any games you just can't attend but would really want to if it wasn't for your job?

I do play on my phone sometimes when at work and not having an extremely busy period. 😇

But I'd definitely not risk my job for it and let my work suffer because of poker. That'd be some form of addiction, I'd say. 🧐

I wouldn't play poker at work. Because it wouldn't make sense

It's impossible to play poker while I'm at work, also what I win playing poker doesn't worth at all to play poker at work. I have a lot of free time to play poker at some other time.

Currently I work with poker so when I'm a little bored in the game I open YouTube and watch a video

Not a good idea to play while in work in the office folks, not worth it.

I play very little while I work, it's hard to stay focused at that moment. I prefer to wait until I'm home to do it.

You'd have to admit your poker addiction is out of control if you are playing at work, even if it is at break, or lunch; your time, technically. If I were the supervisor, I would frown on any employee I found playing poker on their phone or desktop instead of working. It doesn't set a good example for your coworkers. Possible solution: if you and others get along outside of work, have a low buy in live poker game, with pizza or whatever food that is agreed upon.

No, I don't play poker at work. I work at work. If I'm not working, I just go home. If I'm working, I'm completely focused on my work and I don't get distracted by anything else.

I consider myself multifunctional. I can play even while driving. While working, I try not to be distracted by my phone, but when I'm not busy with anything or waiting for someone, I play from my phone. I think you can combine everything, the main thing is desire.

Most people would rather be doing anything else while at work, so by that measure of course I would rather be playing poker.

With that being said I would never risk my job for poker but I don't work in an office so I can't play while at work anyways.

But if I ever made the FT of the Sunday million I would probably develop a cough overnight and wouldn't be able to come to work on Monday...

If you don't have an urgent task and have time and are in a home office, you can easily fit it in, but you definitely can't do this regularly. Not to mention that worrying about being called for something would definitely distract you from the game.

it would be very wrong to do so and in many workplaces it is practically impossible because both hands are busy with work
professions where it would be possible is a teacher, but where it is very risky, such as a bus driver

usually the best and most valuable poker games take place in the evenings after work or on Saturdays and Sundays

My work demands concentration. Poker only at home during my days off

In order to play poker properly and with the prospect of development and growth, you need to play with focus. It's hardly possible to play poker with focus at the workplace if your profession is not usually a poker player.
At any job, you need to work hard to show good results and have a real chance for career growth.
Don't try to sit on two chairs at the same time, because nothing good will come of it.
